I used to train at EliteMMA in Thousand Oaks, CA If you haven't heard of the gym maybe you've heard of Bas Rutten, he was my trainer. I wrestled for 6 years, jiu jistu for 4, muay tai for 4 and krav maga for 2. That shit was fun but my body couldn't handle it anymore. Now I just watch that shit and act like I'm coaching the TV.

Here is a video of my trainer. I don't have any of me as I never entered competitions, my sensai wouldn't let me with my fucked up shoulder.
Here's the gym: http://www.elitemmagym.com/index.php

I wrestled, boxed, and did a tiny bit of Jiu Jitsu. Enough to earn myself a white belt, haha. I'd like to maybe fight in a small show, but I mainly use it to beat the holy bejesus out of drunken bar patrons who can't comply with polite requests. Human cockfights are the best.

Freestyle? Greco? Collegiate?
Freestyle is by far my favorite. I just can't handle rules. And Russian Rolls, so much fun.

Generally schools are collegiate. At least when I wrestled. I had to go out of my way to get into freestyle and greco tourneys.

No way. There was a high school I didn't go to but I did wrestler for that held freestyle tournys and had a team. My high schools wrestling team was actually just allowed to start back up because of a certain hazing incident that involved a broom stick. Kinda sucked because even if we won every match we never had enough wrestlers to fill all the classes and win a meet so we couldn't win league but we ended up sending 4 out of our 12 wrestlers to state. You ever got your oil checked?

Can't say that I have, or that I would allow anyone to live after inserting something into my anus, and I did say "when I wrestled".

I have had two friends that do mma. One is 1 and 2 and the other I think is 1 and 1. I have wrestled/mma'ed them both and beat them. But they do Hook N Shoot in our area, its pretty legit. The one who is 1 and 2 did a competition that ended up on HDnet. I will probably never do real training though, to much yelling. I can't deal with that.

Oh yeah.. I do have about one hundred pounds on the both of them... But they are trained. I only train by watching UFC and whatnot on tv and weight lift. Only been in two fights outside of those fights.

If your trainer is yelling all the time then thay aren't a good one. The best can just talk to you and get you motivated. I can't ever remember any of my trainers ever yelling at me.

I don't know. Only been to one place and it seemed like they were yelling, maybe just talking loudly but it seemed like yelling.

Yeah regardless if it seems like they are yelling then they aren't doing it right. Every session I went to my trainers would always just talk to me and give me technique tips or if I was working out they would just say come on man one more. But then again I don't know what gym your buddies go to they might have an entirely different philosophy.
