what are the best strains for migraines?

    I really dont believe one strain will actually work better for migraines then any other but I do believe a more indica plant will have your ass out in no time.

    Migraines are more in the head so you'll want a dominant sativa like or pure sativa to "massage your head' or a more in the head type of high. Sour Diesel in my opinion is perfect for that, i've noticed a pleasant feeling in the upper back of my head when i've smoked a bowl or 2.

    not entirely. when you have had a headache in the past woudlnt you just like to get really sleepy and pass out. its not a massage in the head for sative its more of an upper talkity feeling more of a soaring or zooming feeling which probably would just make the headache worse. However in my opinion an indica dominiant like WW or AK to really kick your ass back into your seat.

    A sativa head-centered high may aid greatly in being functional during a day that entails migraine episodes, in lessening the presence of headaches. Indicas would be best towards evening medicating.

    over the weekend my girlfriend had a chance to smoke white widow. it wiped out her migraine in minutes. she has not had another one since..

    I've found that widow does wonders! I'm going to try a blend in the next few months (after it is done growing). I would really be curious to try out lots of different mixes.
