Well I'll go first.

I freakin' HATE my job. I stand all damn day for 8 1/2 hours in a grocery store, everyday with one day off.
I get paid SHIT, $6.75 an hour. What kind of B/S is that?

Plus, when they hired me I told em I didnt want more than roughly 32 hours a week.

I've worked 37 and 39 hours a week. Not to mention, I was told I'd hired on as a cashier which starts at $8 something hourly.... But nope, they gave those positions away.

AND They put me in system wrong.... So today my paycheck never came. I almost quit, but the manager cut me an advance luckily.

Im done ranting... You hate your job?

Tell us why.

Yeah our cool manager is leaving too.

We have 2 others. One is okay I guess, haven't really decided.

The other is a dick, or atleast comes off as one. He has no personality and a dry sense of humor where you cant tell if hes trying to be funny, or talk shit.

Thats how I felt before I got this one. I was like, Shiit, I have no money left and I need a job.
Now I'm like,
Oh shiiit, I have a job and some money but no time to spend it because now my life revolves around my B/S job, I so longed for.

Its the circle of life.

Knah mean?

In my area we have a very bad employment situation right now. We had a whole bunch of people moving here to do construction (we were like 2nd on the list of fastest growing citys in the U.S. for a few years) and then people just stopped moving here so all the construction workers lost their jobs and had to find other shit to do, myself included. There are no jobs to be had around here unless you want to work at a fast food resturant making minimum wage or below and for me thats not an option.

Its not always just as simple as quitting your job and finding another one, because sometimes there really isnt anything else.

I hate my job so much, I didn't go in today. I'm pretty sure I'm quitting. I might show up tomorrow, haven't decided yet. I work at a nursing home as a nursing assistant, it sucks. I hate the people there, the work that needs to be done, and the complete lack of respect given to me by my supervisors. Hell, the pay isn't even that great. 10/hr is not worth all the crap, litterally, that I put up with. I can't wait for monday to start looking for a new job, but i hate that process so much. It sucks.

I work at McDonalds making above minimum wage here. It is not bad if you are working with interesting people.....But some nights i work with people who barely speak English or arent fun to talk to to make the shift go by. I only work part time and the main reason i am still working there is i have to pay for my truck. But making food for half price and better at the end of the night is fucking nice:D one night i made a tripple 1/4 pounder with cheese and bacon.... got high and ate that mother fucker!

i prolly shouldn't be postin here cuz i love my job. i work part-time as a barista at Starbucks.

this is my first job, and they started me out at $7.25 an hour. i get to work with hotass girls all day, i meet lots of girls that come in, i have a badass manager, i get any food/pastry's i want, and i get ALL my drinks for free anytime/anyday of the week.

only downside is for morning shift, you have to be there at 4:15am to get the place goin and get everything ready. good thing my manager is cool though and i don't have to work any mornings, just mid-day shift which is slow and easy, and night shift occasionally which goes til midnight.

I usually work over 40hrs a week at a dead end factory job, having a job like that makes you realize whats really important to you. It just seems unnatural for a human to have to do, i am not a robot.

im in sales, why would i post a bunch of lies man, i have nothing to prove to anyone...

and i guess if your not up to moving to a different part of the country then yea you might not have many options but if its that bad, why aren't you moving to a better place? I'm just trying to provoke some thought here...theres plenty of jobs and even better is that the highest paying jobs are to entrepreneurs so theres no excuse in my opinion...excuses wont get you anywhere..if you really, truly want something better, you will get it by not making excuses and doing things that most people dont like to do, thats why theres so many mediocre people, bc everyone is so lazy and unwilling to create their own life path, rather they take the road most traveled and complain about it...
