Rap battle anyone?

Discussion in 'The Musician in U' started by TokingToker, Oct 12, 2007.

  1. Or you got nothing to back it up homie. Whatever way you want to play it.

  2. Ok ill tackle your generic flow in a bit if you like the abuse

  3. Generic? That's real rap. Your rap is on some Mac Miller shit you're just talking about surface chatter that doesn't matter.

  4. No, I focus on internal rhymes, syllables, stressed and unstressed consonants, and vowel play. You struggle to find out how you can make the ends rhyme.

  5. Let me guess, you just wanna confess, about how you and your homies get down in a dress? take a swing around his hole, hes just a stumbling mess, that seems to impress you and make my stomach upset.
he says; take a hit of this blunt B and show me some raps, but you end up just wrestling and kissing his kneck, showing him no disrespect because under your breath, you said "yo homie I luh you", but meant no homo instead?
K dog your a gangster Keep it G ill see you later, Keep that G string this weekend, cause your T-dogs new flavour.

  10. Fuck change your style up or something.

    there's a difference between
what you and I could get done,
    I would lyrically destroy you,
without a knife or a gun.
when the mic goes off in me,
its just an army of one,
see, I dont need a weapon to
    psychologically harm anyone.
take a sit and just stay seated,
    I think im underestimated,
you sound the same way to me
    must be under educated,
    something tells me that we,
    aren't in the same lane
go grab some books and study,
    cause the rap game,
    just isn't your thang.

  11.
Lol that ain't even rap bruh. You're just rhyming sentences. There's a culture and history behind hip hop/rap it's not just rhyming sentences together. If you wanna post verses back and forth do it in the "post your verse". If you wanna "rap battle" then try again my nigga.

  12. holy fuck your daft.
Difference is your shit doesn't rhyme.
I dont need to talk about guns and drugs for it to be considered rap you illiterate degenerate.

  13. Yeah you do. If you don't then it's not rap. It's pop or something. Like bruno mars or lupe fiasco or "radio friendly" music. Keep shit real fuck all that mainstream bullshit. Rap is about a culture. If it's not about the culture then it ain't real, it's pop. You're justin bieber my nigga.

  14. so every rapper that doesn't mention guns or the word nigga isn't a rapper?
    You're a moron.
Hit me up when you learn to rap.

Yeah. If they don't mention guns or drugs or other things that influence the culture then it's not rap. It's pop, like I just said.

  16. Actually hip hop is the cultures background. Rap is rhyming or grouping words together in a rythm. But ya, proves that you dont know shit all about the topic.

you cant rap, hell you can barely rhyme words together. usually its just the same words over and over.

    Attached Files:

  17. Ok then by that logic rappers don't make "rap", they make hip hop, and you just said that's the culture. So again, if the hip hop culture is missing then it's not right. It's called approximate rhymes by the way, most rappers do it.

Nas=rapper (rhyming groups to a rhythm)
Johnny Cash= Country (rhyming groups to a rhythm)

Every type of music is rhyming words together and adding a rhythm. it is was it is rap is rap. And that was not rap.

  18. then how come you cant rap? rather than taking the shaft and saying I cant, how about you come back with something instead of acting like a little girl about it? maybe switch your style up and be somewhat original. you sound the same as any flavor of the week rapper (chief keif) etc.
I want to see some multi syllabic rhymes and different rhyme schemes. I believe in you home girl.

I'm sitting on the train tracks, with a backpack
strapped, to my back, but no looking back
If I stay in chi, then I'm finna get clapped
No father's there to raise us, an mommas hooked on crack
I think I got PTSD, people droppin fast
I'm sitting on these tracks, thinkin bout the macs
All the niggas I looked up to caught lead in the back
Or back in the pen, so I wonder how it will end
Will I be in a casket next, or will it be my friend
The community is toxic, boxed in, pushed out, away from the white crowd
Took down our houses and built us public housing
Try to live an honest life you won't even make a thousand
That's waking up to bills late, need paid, dealing with grown problems like my hair gray
That's all week, day after day, so what I say is my way
Of dealing with the pain and the insane ways, that's in my brain
Like baby momma drama, ain't no peace, no dolli lamma
I can't get to sleep at night my mind is racing, and in my dreams I'm bein chased an
I don't look back, at my past, I'm passed it, now pass that
So I can free my mind from myself now where's the dope at?

Tried to do it your way.
Your way is just focusing on grammar when I'm focusing on how I spit it when I'm just kickin it with my homies and off the top of my head.

  20. Sounds a hell of a lot cleaner though, keep at it this way and you'll be better in no time!
Ill hit you back up with a verse later,
may not be a battle verse so no hate.
