nas - number one, incredable flow, rhyming, and raps "smart"
tupac - close 2, when he wasnt consumed by trying to be a g
kanye west - distant 3, but is the first rapper in a while to utilize beats in his music, as in changing them up and making them interesting, adding to the music, and he raps about real stuff

so there ya go, i find it really hard to take anyone serious that says someone like "lil wayne"

also, one rapper, who is still a tad inderground is atmosphere, hes actually my favorite, and high up on my list for best all time, mainly due to his story telling abilities and smart rapping

Common, Mos Def, and Taleb Kweli are real rappers. They rap more lyrics usually in 30 second than a "gangsta" rappa does in there whole album. They do thinking man's rap and I love it, they all have new albums out now. I suggest checking all of them out.

Bloodhound Gang!!!! hah. Sarcastic yet serious. One Fierce Beer Coaster, is an awesome CD with some of the wittiest rhymes I have ever heard. I guess its arguable if its rap or not, I guess thats what I would label it as. Regardless... Its sick!

I like lil wayne.. I like pac and biggie too.. none are my favorite but I do enjoy listening to lil wayne the most out of the 3.. sorry?..
