Δ<sup>9</sup>-tetrahydrocannabinol (...) is the main psychoactive substance found in the Cannabis plant; and additionally so in a variety of other plants.


but I would hypothesize that they are under the cannabis genus, or possibly in much lower quantities in Cannabaceae family

the closest relative to cannabis is hops and they alas, dont contain tetrahydroCANNAbinol.

it's name specific.

The psychoactive ingredient in marijuana is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). A couple other plants make THC in smaller amounts, most notably the Szechuan peppercorn, hwa-jhou.
