  1. Anyone else have the issue of the PS4 controller just shutting off without warning? The battery dies instantly without warning and works when I charge it afterward. There's no warning on screen of low battery. HELP!!

  2. That doesn't happen to me but it amazes me how fast the battery drains, also amazes me how sony included such a short charging cord to boot..

  3. i haven't had any issues with how long it stays charged but the cord length definitely sucks lol

  4. I have a USB extender cable that's like 10 feet I attach it to... It should be way longer tho for sure

Ha you should see the one they include with the ps gold headset... It's fucken 2 inches long

  5. Pro tip : plug that wire into a phone charger instead of in the ps4 , i've rarely seen a couch far away from any outlets

  6. Why have i not thought of this before! Your a genius!

Look again its just a glitch.

  7. maybe check your settings?

    I usually get a warning.

But yea the battery life us way short compared to other controllers

  8. I have two controllers. One actually pops up on the screen to say, "Hey, charge your shit." The other one is always on 2 bars and just shuts off without notice. The issue beyond that is I don't know if the malfunctioning one is store bought or came with the system. Otherwise, it works fine. #1stworldprobz

  9. I think it charges quicker in an outlet.

My ps4 randomly doesn't recognize the one controller that still works when I plug it into the machine, and refuses to charge it.
