You know when someone makes a joke thats clearly funny as fuck but its more true than funny so you just stand there angrily going thats so fucking funny, gold, gold motherfucker, gold what is that shit is it cos the joke touched something too real to laugh at or what is it? I cant think of any examples to help my case but i hope you've experienced the same thing
I feel you man, I wish I could think of an example, but I tend to make scientific puns that end up getting no reaction, and I can never tell if people understood the joke, and didn't find it funny, or if it went over theirs heads.. Also, I find myself laughing at things I did as a child, because they show insight into my character. For example, my parents used to have to stack the chairs on top of the table in our kitchen, because otherwise, I would climb up the chair, onto the table, and jump off, all damn day. It's funny to me, because I tend to act like I'm driven by a motor, and I definitely enjoy risks. But to most people, it's just a weird story about a demented kid.
