Powdery Mildew or Trichomes?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by quincyjonespot, Nov 29, 2015.

  1. Hay.. I am currently doing my 1st grow and have noticed a shine on my 1 plant.
At a closer look I can almost say that it could be trichomes forming but it is only 29 days from sprouted and still running veg 18/6.
Is it possible for trichomes to form this early or am I stuck with Powdery Mildew?

    Please any advice

  4. Neither trics or powdery mildew. Are you talking about the slight discoloration?

  5. Mildew. Use a milk/water wash to spray it with. I had it a couple of years ago and that worked fine....very weak solution...like 1:10 milk/water...put it in a spray bottle and spray your plants with it. Mine cleared up pretty fast. But you'll need to get the moisture content down in the area where this plant is to keep it gone. TWW

  6. I will use the milk and water method just incase it is mildew. Maybe u can see it now. I cropped the image
Looks like little crystals forming on the leaves and have a shine effect.

Green Cure once a week keeps it in check but I'd missed my IPM on this pair of plants.. I'm a mostly outside grow so I can't win just fight it to a draw..
