Same old shit

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by justcallmekg, Nov 29, 2015.

  1. Anyone ever get tired of there smoking routine. I do the same shit every time its getting annoying. How do you guys spruce up ur smoking life?

  2. How could smoking be annoying...it's supposed to be the opposite.
Sit down, relax, and enjoy your bud everytime you smoke and it will be great.
Or maybe you need a tolerance break for a day or two.

  3. smoke out of different pieces, with different people

  4. I don't get it at all. I think if you don't have anything going in your life or maybe I should say anything GOOD going on in your life then hanging out getting stoned all the time might be kinda sucky.

I'm in a good spot in my life and happy with just about everything. I think that matters more than what type of pot you smoke or when you do it or where or how much in determining if you have a good time while high.

I'm with Superpurpleskunk, give it a break. If it stops being fun then maybe consider getting a different hobby.

  5. Never had this problem. I love the routine/ritual/spiritual of preparing my hash (my preffered way of enjoying cannabis) and rolling it into a perfect conical joint, each and everytime trying to top my last roll. I enjoy the smell, the taste, the act of blending the ingredients together into the most enjoyable smoke.

I do, however, understand that if things get too repetitive, ie. you smoke at the same time, with the same time in between each time, it can be too much of a forced feel because of habitual reasons, that it can get like that for you. If that is the case, I would suggest you try to just go by feel and not by internal clock, as it were. Going off of impulsivety and not habit. At least that is how I sustain the enjoyment of my smoking. [IMG]

  6. Your life is really just a series of habits that you maintain.. Going to work, eating, sleeping.. Same faces, same conversations.. etc.. People often think taking sick days off work is bad because your just not there, but you also gotta think, you are fucking with your teams routine when you are not there.. People hate change, moreover when it is forced upon them.. Revolutions have been started over forced change.. Wars have started over it, kind of crazy to even think about.

Change ain't easy and it comes with a price. Some of us pay more than others.

But you also have to think, some people crave change. Some people know nothing but change. This is problematic because there is a point where your going to have to draw your line in the sand and fight for what you want, for it to not change. Maybe you start a better list of habits that create a better life for you, maintaining that change is important.

If i were you, i would take the time to just sit back and enjoy the fact that you really do have the choice to either change your life or keep it exactly the same. Revel in it. Enjoy it, but don't let the decision be lost on you! Inaction is also a choice.

Stay deep my friend, good luck!!

  7. Definitely try smoking with a group of friends, out of new pieces, watch some good shows on Netflix ( I recommend that 70s show or pulp fiction, even a good family guy) and listen to some good music. Vary between dubstep, rap, old hip hop, grateful dead, reggae, and just try to find inner peace with yourself. If you get high enough where everything feels still and serene at one second, it's amazing.

  8. I enjoy my routines. Wake and Bake with a bubbler and some YouTube, taking bong rips with my friend before playing COD. Good shit

  9. I know that feeling. just take a week break, work out a bit, and change how/where you smoke
I used to sit and just get couchlocked which is fun sometimes but I started to get sad doing that all the time so I switched to mainly morning and afternoon smoking and I would only smoke if I was going somewhere or about to do something like chores or errands or music or whatever you like to do

  10. As others have suggested, trying switching up what you're doing during/after you burn.

This happened to me recently, I got on an Entourage bender and was just watching episode after episode while I was smoking. It got super old, so I switched off the TV last night and just listened to music. I felt much better after that session.

    Good luck!

  11. change up your routine... take a titty-break.

  12. Roll joints, bombers, cones and blunts. Buy an array of pipes, bubblers and bongs. Get a vape and grav bong. Try edibles (but that party is waaaay boring). Try concentrates on a dab rig. Smoke resin. Go outside with a magnafier and use it to light up your stash.

  13. Don't just sit around and play video games. Go outside, experience nature, the world around you

  14. All I know is after a shitty day of work coming home and smokin a joint and drinking a beer help me unwind

  15. If it's "annoying" why do you keep smoking.

I don't understand some of these new age threads so to speak.

But you could try changing where you smoke, try changing the time of day you smoke, switch methods etc. Also you could just take a break for a couple weeks.

  16. You gotta switch up the ways you're smoking my friend. Try something different smoke out of a hookah, try a bubbler or a vaporizer etc. Also smoking with new people can be fun and getting someone high for the first time is always a pleasure lol.

  17. Yes to all of this except for smoking resin. Don't do that.

  18. Travel. Seeing new places, finding the coolest smoke spots in your area. Usually very nature oriented. I like hitting a route on some back road I've seen but never been on and finally finding out where that motherf'er goes! You come across beautiful locations close by that you never knew existed beforehand. Always fun for me![IMG]

P.S. As some other fellow blades have said, new pieces/methods of smoking and new people always spice things up too. Like dropping by on that old friend you haven't smoked with in forever because you just been caught up in life and smoking a nice fat bowl with him. Just thinking about it warms my heart! 19. I say do anything and everything you can to keep variety in it. New music. New pieces. Different strains. Dabs. Locations. There's pretty much a ruibix cube of different configurations to try when you think about it. Even if you can take it for granted, don't. It can happen, especially being in a situation where you *expect* to smoke. For some reason, while on one hand it can be easy to let the deadly combo of THC and laziness take over and define your routine, on the flipside it can ruin it in ways. I've personally only had it happen kind of, once or twice, but with a bit of thought and exploration so-to-speak it is possible to breathe life into it.
