Go read this: http://simplyhydro.com/nutrient_temp.htm As you can tell, the author mentioned oxygen absorption @58 deg F. I doubt if you will ever operate that low, but I have operated my grow @ less then 60deg F, and the growth was fantastic. The caveat being the condensation pools that form under the plumbing aren't worth it (to me). IMO run your soup at a temperature a couple of degrees just above the dew point and check for pooling.
thanks my water is at 23deg f I've Ordered a water heater I think I jest messed up my seeds they have sprouts coming out I open the Rockwool a little bit to see if sprouts was coming out and They are I'm using the super Cloner to germinate any idea how long does it take for it to sprout out the rock will I started Thursday morning
You cannot have water at 23 deg F. It is called ice at that temp. LOL If you mean 23deg C, you are too warm. Around 18 deg C is what I run (64 deg F). http://www.texloc.com/closet/cl_cel_fah_chart.html
Okay. Should I put any nutrients on my rockwool while seeding an should I leave the light on in my cabinet or leave it offattachment=1927683:ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1448764598.420167.jpg]
I would recommend you not do nutrients until you have growth. Having the light on does nothing if you don't have a plant growing. Wait till something is sticking out of the top of the rockwool.
Don't give nutes for like two more weeks atleast. Those little circle leaves have all the nutes the plant needs for a while Sent from my LGL22C using Tapatalk
Yeah wait until the rounded leaves start to turn yellow, that means the plant has used all the nutrients they stored.
The only "issue" I have running that low is the condensation pools that form under the plumbing. I may thermal wrap the plumbing at some point and run lower. I have seen great growth @ under 60 degF.
