So this samsara holygrail 69 is in a 4x4 tent under a 1000watt HPS on 24/7 (waiting on better bulbs snd new thermostat so I can use space heater and shut light off, gets down to 30f at night and my ventilation pulls air in from outside before being scrubbed) soil is 50:50 happy frog and coarse perlite. Temps are 72-78 with RH at 30-60% been a pain keeping them steady. Have oscilatting fan inside and a scrubberamd exhaust hooked to hood. Soil ph is 6.0 a little low but fed yesterday because I thought might be zinc def so added GH trio. Older growth is fine but new is all sorts of effed up. Stalk and branches are thick and heavy as shit.
Lift the pots off the floor. Feel the floor temps before u do that. Some pls ts turn blue, some gold when cold. I use a 70-30 mix and do not have to add mutes until weeks 6 to 8 or so.
The floor is plenty warm but I did just realize Im using hose to fill up my jugs and the water out of that this time of year is absolutely frigid. Im going to start using warmer water so root zone isnt shocked and saturated w cold ass water and see if that helps. Cant hurt, im sure a cold root zone is no bueno
They should only drop about ten degrees when the lights off some do some dont autos im 24/7 sometimes but overall 18/6 if its concrete set the pot on some styrofoam 14 years of growing i can tell you i start my nutes two weeks in around 220ppm and ramp it up along with a root booster and kelp powder
If you feel like you made a bad choice and they started to turned on ya after you added your stuff just flush them they will come back now as in the kelp powder its cheap spray them with the lights off and i promise youll come back here telling me its the shit lol its amazing stuff
Its on 18/6 light now had been for 3 days. Thermostat came so Im able to use space heater and keep tent at 68 at night. Im hoping with some darkness and not using cold water shell come around. If in a week she still keeps growing these crazy leaves ill flush. The 3 sour dieses on the other hand are growing fast as hell
If im seeing your temp it says 84 33 humidity if your temp is that high kick up the humidity 60 humidity and 75 degrees is what your trying to shoot for
No that fuckers busted, i use it for the lowest temp feature it has. I have a seperate thermostat out of pic. Also wound up putting plants on 1" foam block insulation pieces, the bottom of smart pots were freezing.
Foam is great I line my whole floor with it one side it reflective and can also walk and clean it well
