I have a drug test tomorrow before I get my position at a bank. I stopped smoking about 3 1/2 weeks ago but still don't want to take a chance with a pre since this is a big upgrade from what I have now. I bought a perfect sized vial, hand warmers and tape but I can't find temperature strips anywhere! I've gone to target, Walmart, super walmart, cvs and Walgreens and none of them had any and most had no idea what I was talking about. Is there any other way to test the temp when I pour it in the testing cup? I was fine just using hand warmers to make sure it was the right temp but just read two stories where they failed since it was too hot.
Yeah it's just that looking around online it seemed like the most common thing to find in pharmacy stores etc and it looks like it used to be. Do you have any other suggestions as to find the temp of liquid? Even if it's a regular little thermometer and costs a bit it's fine.
I think I may have found some! I called a pet store and they have "adhesive temp strips" for tanks for lizards and hermit crabs etc. where dry tanks need to be heated. Hopefully this is it, about to head there now and my drug test is in 2 1/2 hours
I tested out the thermometer with my own pee and it was at 96-98 and it showed it within seconds so it's reliable. Currently sitting in the office with two people ahead of me. Shit I'm a little nervous guys, wish me luck. As long as it's between 90-100 degrees in good!
go to a pet store and buy a terrarium or aquarium thermometer strip. Or go peel one off of the side of your big brothers fish tank. That's right D it was me after all.
The one that reached 105 was really long so I couldn't wrap it around my container since it's quite small, and the other two only went up to 90. But I should be fine with this, I'm right about to go! Thank you for the suggestion though!
