Has The World Gone Crazy?

Discussion in 'General' started by STIGGY, Nov 24, 2015.

  1. I would like to hear views that some other People from around the Globe think about what is really happening in our World today.
I feel that we are nosedive in a spiral tailspin very quickly.
    Thanks

  2. That's kind of weak, there isn't any reason for me to believe you...There is no explanation or even observations.

Who cares. I just arrange my life the way it suits me - and if society gets in the way, I will find a workaround.

I don't cause harm to other beings. I grow my own fresh produce, and am vegetarian.

Nonetheless, my existence will still cause some degree of indirect harm to members of the human species. It is a fact of life. If you get offended by my posts - that's still considered me causing you to suffer, I guess.. so it's inevitable, albeit controllable.

  4. The world as always been insane, it's just that we have the internet now.

  5. I mean Life in General, how has your life changed in the past 10-20 years?
Life use to be so good now I fear we won't be around much longer.
I am a realist and I do not believe in God like everyone else does, I think there was a force we shall call it that started it all but afterwards its doing its own thing.
    Anyone understand this?

I think the worst part of the 21st century is the exponential rise in housing prices, as well as the human population.

I don't expect any of these problems to be solved through government intervention, of course...

I think people should take matters into their own hands, buy themselves RVs - park them somewhere up in a hill, and live in them, rent-free. (Provided they dispose of their waste properly and don't pollute their surroundings, of course.)

  7. p.s.

That said, I'm overall pretty happy with this millenium. The internet is the world's best invention, in my opinion. Knowledge is power. The net has been a major part of my life - and the reason I have the opportunity to learn anything I've ever wanted to know about the world and the universe, from the comfort of my couch.

  8. I've only been around for 20 years so your world experiences probably over shadow mine alot. Idk aside from technology life hasn't shifted that much for me. I was around when 9/11 happened(im from nyc) so I always dealt with terror alerts and huge security situations and things of that nature.

I will say that politically this country is unstable as fuck almost on par to how it was in the 60s while on the world theater 3 of 5 world powers are bombing in a country with China soon to come and the UK deciding whether they should. I did right by not joining the military. Fuck that shit.

As far as that goes. I've been studying the situation for 5 years. The US have no grip on the situation so with that comes uncertainty on what comes next.

  9. I get you. I'm older, an Atheist, realist and a bit of a nihlist. It's hard believing in a future when things are so fucked up, right? Like, does anything we do really matter in the end? My oldest just moved out and took my identity with her..."Why bother?" is in my vocabulary way too much. Just find out what makes you tick, what helps you believe that good things are coming, they are and we just need to be around to see it.

  10. how can it go crazy if it never wasn't?

  11. Yes in so many ways
Life is hard but that's what made it fun.

  12. Hey Stiggy!

I think the world has been going crazy for a while. Only difference is when one of these issues goes viral on social media (i.e Paris attacks) then the media goes crazy talking about that...then brings up a couple similar issues going on in the world. It's been going on, but people didn't start noticing til a hot spot like Paris got attacked.

  13. stay calm and panic!!

yup, this situation with ISIS has been building up for years. For people who never looked into it, it went from Paris being attacked, to France and the US bombing ISIS, to a Russian fighter jet being downed over Turkey.

One can see how this creates an affect of the world losing it's mind.

However I can say with full confidence that the US has lost it's fucking mind. Between the primaries, all these domestic situations, our situation in Syria. This country is gone mad.

    Edit: Gone madder [IMG]

  15. This is also what I am speaking of, so it's not just me there are other sane person who feel as I.
I know the US has gone over the deep end, I just wonder what the Counrty will be like without any Government to tell the children what to do.
Gonna be interesting, Hold on for the ride.
I remember hiding under my school desk during Nuclear raid drills
Scary shit, and all it was is smoke and mirrors like the walls and desk of the School were going to save out sorry asses.
Maybe I should not smoke anymore .
    Thanks Guys

  16. Nah you're far from the only one. It seems like the past few years Americans have found possibly everything they can to divide themselves. I'm just like can we all smoke and chill? [IMG]

  17. I must be from "around the Globe" to someone. I think one thing that's happening is the internet has made it possible for glib idiots to hoodwink large populations of malcontents (religious and non religious both) into accepting their skewed view of what's wrong with the world.

  18. Yes I agree
It seems that people are getting dumber everyday
and Common sense what that Dad? LOL
    Thanks Guys
