Weed messed my head up

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Yannoh, Nov 24, 2015.

  1. So two weeks ago I bought some weed off some random dealer who offered it to me in London, England (I'm 100% sure it wasn't spice). This also happened to be the first time I had smoked in over year. So I roll a joint smoke it and everything seems fine, get a nice high, a good buzz, fall asleep, wake up the next day feeling better than I have for a long time. I smoked the next day, get a nice high again but decide to take a break.
Over the next few days things begin to deteriorate, I get some mad racing thoughts and start suffering from some severe cognitive impairment. By that I mean my short term memory and my working memory were really bad. Words began getting muddled in my head and I found it hard to form cohesive sentences in my head as a result, my word recall also became really bad. In addition simple things would confuse me and I was often feeling very disorientated. I genuinely thought I was developing schizophrenia or psychosis or something along those lines. The worst part of it was the insomnia it gave me. Last week I went nearly 4 nights without sleep, I was literally in hell. Only drinking alcohol got me some sleep in the end.
I went to my doctor and a mental health specialist at my university and they assured me that it was nothing too serious and the effects would gradually drift away. I'm glad to say things are starting to improve but I sill have trouble sleeping and still some cognitive impairment.
What do you think happened? The mental health specialist said I probably smoked some really strong stuff that I wasn't used to and had a bad reaction. Any one had any similar experiences?

  2. That's why you don't buy it off the street, or at least someone you know you can trust 100%.

  3. 7 Nov you posted that you had just finished an ordeal that had your head fucked up for 4 months. Now you did it again?
    .
Sounds like an anti-marijuana shill to me.
2 posts and both negative experiences. We don't take kindly to trolls here.

  4. I just finished smoking a fat joint.......the only thing my head is telling me is: find food, asap.

  5. Could be so many things really, hard to say when we don't have a clue what you picked up, could have been really really good weed, or really really shit weed, either could produce those effects, but sounds more like the latter.

Throw away what you have and when you smoke again try to ask about the weed itself before you buy if possible.

  6. if you want I can smoke your weed for you. I'm bored of my Reggie, give me some of your London psychosis strain lol
