So i've been smoking for about 5 months, I guess you can call me a novice of sorts. The first two times I smoked I over-did myself and smoked way more than what a beginner should smoke. I ended up vomiting really badly. Ever since then, I only consume small amounts, I'm talking about half a dime or a dime at most because I'm afraid I'll throw up. I also have a really weak stomach, so any type of fast movement, particularly spinning movements, can make me dizzy and gag and maybe even throw up. I also noticed when I'm high that I feel like I'm spinning, its very odd. I also know that the bud I smoke isn't laced or anything since I usually smoke with a friend and he say's he feels fine, he can smoke a whole pound of it if he could. So maybe some of you experienced tokers can give me some input on why this is happening or someways I can somehow solve this issue. Thanks!

Edit- I usually keep my high at a mid level, a 5 from a 1-10 scale which is the perfect spot for me. But the high never seems to be "high" enough, I want to get more stoned but the possibility of throwing up is there and it consistently happens.

  2. Smoke more often and build your tolerance up

  3. ohhh I hate the spins, only get those when too crossfaded...are you eating before burning? Could be blood sugah issue brother

  4. are you drinking alcohol before smoking?
Always drink after smoking or not at all
Seen lots of chicks puke up their guts after drinking than getting high.

  5. Nope, I don't drink at all. I dont think its my blood sugar level either since my levels have always been good and I'm a healthy individual, and I don't have diabetes running in my family either. And at first I thought that I was vomiting because of eating too much, so for a few sessions I didn't eat at all a few hours before and only ate a nutrient bar after smoking. But whoop dee doo I got the spins for a few of the sessions, and threw up once. And the spins usually only pop up for a short amount of time but that time period is enough to make me puke. Any recommendations to help with the spins or nausea? Or should I take medicine before hand that helps with naesea?

  6. you can be healthy as fuck and still suffer from low blood sugar if you haven't ate all day, maybe space out ur hits, 2 tokes every 15 minutes, instead of 4 hits in 5 minutes, which I prefer, higher high but not as long duration

  7. My friend has this same problem. She went to the doctor and they said that weed triggers the nausea center of your brain and that could be why you're up-chuckin'. The doctor said it only affects 2% of people.

  8. Sounds like you suffer from nausea and possibly even vertigo, OP. Try to smoke in a controlled environment where you can whittle out the variables that are making you vomit. Monitor your food you eat when high, and what activities you are doing when high. That should help give you insight to your spins. [IMG]

  9. Alright thanks boys, I'll definitely take all your tips into consideration

  10. It happens, it just means you smoked way too much for your tolerance. try pacing it more and trying to smoking less. No need to rush the high! getting there is the best part lol

  11. fuck dude, I can tottally relate to that!! My first time getting high I got smashed and threw up as well, I blame that on the food though, I ate a lot of junk and sweet food I wasn't used to before smoking, bad idea.
Anyway that happenned to me three times after.
I figured out that it happens when I smoke a lot in a short ammount of time, the deal is just to take your time, no rushes for getting high, and smoke small bits, not very big hits. It's always fun to take huge hits though, just know your limit, man!!
    Happy blazing!
