Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I just bought a Pax 2 and am loving it so far. Anyone have any tips on how tight of a pack I should have in the oven and about any of the Easter Eggs that the device comes with? I figured out the party lights
Hey StormandWind! I've had the pax 2 for a few months now. I've got to say it's been inconsistent with me. In my experience, The best way for me to pack it is to grind your herb to a powdery consistency. I use the magic flight finishing grinder to get it like that. Then I fill the oven just under 3/4 of the way , use the oven lid to tap it down. Then add and keep tapping down (not too hard) until you've filled the oven with your desired amount. I've only tried less than half a bowl once and it didn't work out too well. Basically the herb shouldn't have too much space to move around. I haven't had any luck with the all special features so I can't help you there. Hope this helps!
Yo dudes, I've been heavily using the pax 2 for half a year give or take. I've had the best success grinding up the bud till its nearly powder. I don't currently have a grinder at college with me, but the quarter in a pill bottle has worked wonder for me. You can pack the pax as full or not full as you want, but its important to pack the bud down not just put it in the oven. Heat setting 3 out of 4 has produced the most and best quality hits. As far as easter eggs Party mode is awesome, you might not know that party mode has an actual purpose. It constantly heats the bud instead of going into stand by between people. So if you're hitting in a ton or passing it around a group party mode is good, if you're taking your time between hits don't use party mode as it will just cook your bud and smell like dank city. Another easter egg I have yet to try (and can't remember how to activate) is the game Simon, apparently you can play Simon on your pax and I've even heard that if you beat level 20 it will play you a song.
