Air Purifier and Weed Smell

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by PSG, Nov 21, 2015.

  1. so i just got an air purifier, called the germguardian AC4825E. i got it for allergies, but then i thought "hey, maybe this could help the smell of me smoking marijuana be nonexistant"

what do you think/know? a few other questions: how long would it take for the air purifier to remove the smell of smoked marijuana? would it remove it completely? etc etc. thanks!

also, here's a few photos of the purifier ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1448136558.912580.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1448136584.546208.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1448136606.997404.jpg

  2. and a hypothetical situation: if i smoke a few bowls in my room (towel under door as to not disturb roommates) with the purifier on, no windows open, would the smell go away and how long would it take? what if i had a window open? etc

  3. bump, please respond

  4. There's no real way to know unless you test it. It's highly unlikely anyone here has tried doing it, but who knows. I personally would say that yeah, it would still smell for a while, just not at long. I'd also hazard a guess that your purifier would eventually reek of herb as well.

  5. we had a air purifier and it didn't do a whole let for smell but the ones we had were old as fuck

my air purifier doesn't work that well. So i bought an alternative, a smoke buddy jr. They're like $10 on amazon and you exhale into it and it cuts down on smell alot. I would go with a smoke buddy and a air purifier that would prolly be best.
