looks good man. your lighting should be allgood for a few weeks. i personally wouldnt put them under a hps while they are that small if i could help it. what is the size of your setup. the size of the grow space really would dictate how much light you need. as in how much light coverage you need for all your plants to get the best amount of even light. Make sure you have good ventilation and humidity and try keep temps between 24 - 28c and your golden!

dont flower too early either and make sure you harvest when the plants are actually ready and not too early. there is really lots of good info on this site, start reading up in the beginers page. learn the basics. ive been on this site, using the growing info on this site for over 5 years now and i feel like ive only just begun and there is soo much more to learn. it never ends!!! NEVER!!! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I think you should do some research on these things, and yes for an hps you should use a ballast.

LED lighting as apose to hps (some may disagree with me but check it out!)

Using organic as apose to chemical

    Ventilation

    Humidity and temperatures

Plant training for bigger yeilds and to get more out of your space, espically productive in small setups where height is an issue. this ones a biggie!

how often to water your plants. you dont want to under water or over water. i personally wait 3-4 days between waterings. water, let the soil dry out then water again.

And most importantly to me, GENETICS!!!! ORDER SOME SEEDS SON!! KUSH'S, SKUNKS!!!!, CHEESES!!!!! EVERYTHING!!! seeds are cheap when you actually stop and realise what you can get out of it its definatly worth it. and if you buy seeds and you get ideal plants, which you would, clone your plants and start a dedicated mother plant to take more clones off. you can keep a mother for years. ive heared of a 30 year old mother plant you really just need to maintain it and she will reward you. talk about really geting your moneys worth! long story short, crank some worthy genetics in a good well planed out setup and expect big yeilds of high quality cannabis!!!

Just get a basic understanding of these topics i have presented to you and you will be well on your way grasshopper!!! hope this helps!

  3. Thanks it's been about three weeks. Week two I had to transplant her due to nute block . She was in MG seed starter and it stopped her growth and was killing her. Switched to ocean forest and now she's taking off

  4. Cops are not gonna sweat you for 2-4 plants unless a bored Texas cops travels through Kansas. If you have a cartel type growhouse with a heat signature of the space shuttle luanch, then you are going to prison. Be smart. Stick with the 2-4 plants and don't sweat it.

  5. Not to mention that, in the absence of other clues that support issuance of a warrant, a heat signature has been ruled to be an invasion of privacy and that particular Supreme Court decision has not been overruled. Granted, now that the infrared guns are more widely available and in public hands, it is a decision that has ripe for review...but at the present moment, it takes more than a heat signature in the USA for a warrant.

Don't be stupid and you have little to worry about...

  6. Stay with the CFLs through the veg process and let your plants grow to a decent size. The bigger they get in the veg stage, the better the harvest at the end. The hps will get hot so I recommend you getting an air cooled hood when you buy the hps light. For a couple of plants, a 300 watt or 400 watt would be great. As far as your lights giving you away, you have nothing to worry about. With a setup that size you're not going to attract any attention at all. Though the hps lights burn hot, one little light isn't enough to give off a heat signature big enough to catch anybody's eye. I'm flowering with 4 1000 watt hps and if I've not drawn any attention to this point, I doubt seriously you area going to just growing a couple of plants. Spend the time to really learn how to grow these plants. Read on the new grower threads to pick up the basics you need to pay attention to during the grow...like managing pH of liquids going in your plants, proper watering technique, proper potting technique, using nutes effectively and a few other things. Good luck! TWW

  7. Tell No One of what you grow.............................
No Family, Best Buddy, or Girlfriends
They will turn you in if it comes down to them or you getting busted
    Believe me..................................
    plants look Good

  8. What about power draw? Can you be flagged, noticed, etc for pulling high power on specific timings? I would think a 1000w hps would be noticeable, but never knew if the electric company even cared.
