Can I work in the medical field with a medical marijuana recommendation?

    I have a medical marijuana reccomendation and I want to be a physical therapy assistant, since it's in the medical/health field, will my rec stop me from getting my PTA license??

    It sure will. Health care workers are subject to drug tests, and your employer will drug test you before hiring. Private employers have their own rules and do not have to agree with state laws re marijuana
