I bought a mixed bag of seeds from peakseedsbc back when I first started growing. I got way more than what I paid for. Awesome to deal with. Absolutely no issues with them. I've had rather good success rate. 95% germination. Always full great looking plants. I recently have started growing hydro. This has been my first go at it. Amazing. I'll never go back to soil. I had no issues. Some minor lessons learned... like distilled water is cheap and way better than my tap water. Tap water is 6.5ph and 350ppm. Used a 3 part Holland secret nute and Epsom salts and pH down. That's it. Nothing else. The micro part is made of enough calcium help with my cal-mag defiencncy. Had no issues with nute mixing res changes and all that. Used pH strips. . I will get a pen.. the the strip actually wasn't that hard.. not super c accurate but gets the job done. Blue lab ppm meter worked well. Res temp stayed nice and cool when I moved to flowering home. 69-72f. 8 weeks veg. Switched to hps at week 7 Started the switch of nutes to a 1:1:1 ratio Week 9 Both fucking male.. Lesson learned. I've only ever been hit with 1 male out of a crop. So I've still been able to harvest. Not this time. What a slap in the face. Time to go buy some feminized seeds. Not a huge fan of ordering online so I found some crop king seeds locally. Any recommendations for seeds? Currently interesting in white cookies.. I hear they will have new strains in December. .?
shit man, 8 weeks down the pan, I'm gutted for you. Yeah I guess feminised seeds are worth the extra cost. How come you don't like ordering seeds online? I always buy from attitude seeds, they have been faultless with me and I've ordered around 15-20 times over the years
Plant more than 2... Or Buy feminized seeds. Even tho this was a hydro trial I intend to make my next grow even better. 4 peak seeds sprouted this morning. As well I picked up a 5 pack of crop kings feminized white widow. have 4 of them germinating right now.
