Hi, this is my first hydro grow, I decided to do it as a Ebb and Flow method. I am using pipes as the trays, with drippers, would it work well? any tips would be appreciated Here are some pics http://static.grscty.com/uploads/monthly_11_2015/post-919125-14477009215739.jpg http://static.grscty.com/uploads/monthly_11_2015/post-919125-1447701494109.jpg http://static.grscty.com/uploads/monthly_11_2015/post-919125-14477015071372.jpg
I ran the water today, and I noticed one pipe doesnt drain all the way, does anyone know if that will that cause me any problems with the roots? Here this is the topic I made on my tent if you are interested http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1389067-10%22-x-10%22-x-9%22---Grow-tent-setup
I am going ahead and will buy the clones today. Hopefully everything is going to work out here are some more pics
Looks cool! Good luck with it. Doesn't seem as though there's a whole lot of root room though. Not a problem if you're doing short veg SOG. Sizable plants have sizable root masses though. Too much standing water can be problematic for young or compromised root systems. If it's just a little, healthy plants will likely just drink it up before the next flood cycle.
Thanks clearing things up for me, as you pointed, there's not that much water, the plants probably will drink it all. I'm still a little worried about starting this big on my first hydro, but now it's too late to give up! @thread I got nutrients and the CO2 tanks. Now I only need a couple of oscillating fans and clones.
I have 23 Green Crack, and 23 Sunshine Daydream @topic Some of my plants are not looking healthy. I opened a thread http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1390141-Plant-Diagnosis-Please%3F-Drooping-leaves%2E -- some more pics
Your set up looks good, but it isn't ebb and flow is it? It looks like a standard NFT. What size is your return lines? They look narrow enough for the roots to block so that may be something to look out for
