  1. I have a 1.5' by 3' by 3' grow box for 2 dwarf autos. I'm going to use cfl and I'm unsure about how many watts. I'm thinking 4 65watt 2700k for flower and 4 80watt 6500k for veg... Give me some advice guys. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1447626756.814042.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1447626841.081916.jpg

  2. yeh that should be fine but maybe 6200k for Veg. Do you have some fans for that set-up?

  3. Yes I have an intake 25cfm and exhaust is 50cfm into a carbon filter. As well as a pc fan for air circulation

  4. imo throw in as many cfls during flower as you can (both colors) until heats an issue. Then remove 1 bulb, monitor heat, and let her ride.......

  5. I am able to keep it at a steady 82F with a total of 192 actual watts. Should I put one or two autos in the box?

  6. actual watts are what matter. Yes, Cfl watts are stronger in my opinion but 400w equivilent is not near any 400w light like MH or HPS.

Youre set on watts with 192 but you could always add more.

You can fit 2 in the box but as you might imagine, 1 would grow better than 2.

Make sure they get good ventilation and your plants will find a way!

  7. Thanks a lot! I've been waiting for a reply for a while

  8. no problem, glad to help. hows it goin so far?

i wanted to ask you what Wattage lights they are. true watts.

I haven't started my little autos because I've been out of town but I'm thinking about starting in the next week or so.

I have 23actual watt 6500k cfl and one 65watt 5500k for veg and

    for flower I have 2 55 watt and 4 23 watt cfls all 2700k

My cab stays at a steady 75 with the new glass inlay.

  10. basically a perfect setup. kudos.

is that plexi-glass? whatever it is, i cant believe i never thought of that. should keep the heat in check and more. im gonna have to steal that idea :p

keep me posted on your grow dude i cant wait to see how it turns out.

  11. Thanks! Ive been hard at work getting it to stay at temps and the plexiglass works wonders! I was at 92 and climbing, popped in the glass and boom, 75 and occasionally reaches 80.
    I'll keep updating.
