Glycerin Tinctures vs. BHO Syrup

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Snicksmama, Nov 15, 2015.

  1. Hello everyone,
Lets just say that I am about 90% new to the edibles and would really like to try to make a BHO syrup that I have bought. I keep doing some research but am coming up with nothing that describes HOW to make the BHO syrup. Is this the same thing as a Glycerin Tincture? Or an Alcoholic Tincture? Please any help would be greatly appreciated! Ive seem plenty of forums about the tinctures but none explaining how to make BHO Syrup.

  2. I'd suggest making a dry run of the rock candy first to get the technique down. It looks tricky.

I am not familiar with BHO syrup or candy making but my guess would be it's like infused honey or agave. You'd want to dissolve the BHO in some 190 proof alcohol and then mix it into the candy making process at the very end to avoid damaging the cannabinoids.
