I decided that i needed to apend some money to get a decnt harvest. You live and learn and now i got familiar spent a total of 150 and.i will be running two ico cool auto and sweet trainwreck by sweet seed I realized that good genetic is a really need so i spent some $$$ on those also. I will be holding them in 2 gallon pots .
I have grown sweet trainwreck autos before. Great choice. My advice would be to use the led the whole time. Best of luck with the grow! Ahh, just noticed you dont have your panel yet. Well youll be fine, hopefully it shows up sooner than later.
Along for the ride as I am also running 4 plants under an led with suplimental CFLs in a 2x2( roughly)
So you dont think one led panel.will work for both veg and flowering? I think for the small space it should be good
I've been using both CFLs and a 300w LED for the last three grows with great success. Been using 6500K cfls during veg, and 2700K during flower. I mix the CFLs color temp 50-50 when they start to show sex. So far the plants have thrived. Not a lot of heat is nice.
The full spectrum LED's that have both IR and UV rays are not enough for flowering from what I've read. They do a ok job but for best results you 2 100 watt UFO LEDS during flowering. ONE on each side of the LED
did you consider how short a 3ft tent would be after hanging the light and height of the pot. how much growing space do you except to have? do you plan to LST it? 4 plants should turn out nicely in that space. i plan to run a couple once i get my light back.
