first things first. my goal yeild for this grow is between half a lb and a lb. anybody think i will make it?

Hey yall. probably my 5th grow or so. My biggest grow so far. i am growing 5 diffrent strains in a grow box that i built myself from sheets of mdf. lined with mylar and fit out with a 700w led, with passive intake and a 205cfm exhaust fan. temps are always between 23 - 29c at the moment.

    strains include:

    DNA'S Lemon Skunk
    Dinafem's Og Kush
    HSO'S 707 Headband
    Nirvanas White Rhino
    Barneys Farms Pineapple chunk
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    My soil consists of

    compost
    ewc
    coco coir
    vermiculite
    perlite
    dolomite lime
    organic compost fert pelets
    neem tree granules
    blood and bone
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    This is watering schedule

    watering 1: Plain river water

watering 2: River water, silica, enggys f1, alfalfa seed sprout tea

    watering 3: plain river water

watering 4: river water, silica, young coconut water, aloe

    then repeat
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

4 of my plants have been mainlined. i reccomend looking into it if you can afford a few weeks for your plants to recover. as its just topping your plants lots. two of my plants have 8 main heads, as in 8 main stems. yep 8 colas. two other plants were topped one less time so they have only 4 main stems per plant. it worked well for me as it slowed down my plants and gave me time to construct my new big box they are now currenty in. so it worked well in my situation but i am undecided if i will do it again as it seems you can get a quicker yeilds doing 12/12seed sog grow or scrog grows. but aside from that i am very happy with the mainlining technique so far it looks like it works real well after plants recover. they should yeild high for their size id say

I never had any problems until i transplanted about two weeks ago. the new mix i transplanted the plants into was too dense and the roots were starved of oxygen. so i had to dig out the soil and replace with a much more aerated mix. all plants have bounced back except for the white rhino. The rhinos leaves are all curled up and yellowish. some tips are burnt. it doesnt look happy but it has thick dense growth and looks like a good yeilder. good thing i got cuts before it went sick so i can still carry on growing more rhino if i like it

anybody know whats wrong with my rhino?

  2. This is a stab at your problem here, but the brown rusty spots on the leaves almost look like a boron deficiency that people get when they use RO water and lose base micronutrients through filtration. You water with river water but do you know the pH of it and the base ppm of it? The limpness of the leaves almost looks like heat stress from lights too. But like I said, these are just guesses. I'm sure somebody who knows more than I will be along and help you out. Nice work!! TWW

  3. yea i think it is more complicated than that. im not sure of ph or ppms. it is from a very clean untouched river out in the country. all the other plants seem to be doing good. also i doubt its heat stress because my temps haven't been high but could be possible

This is where it started. i veged the 4 big plants under cfls for a while til they got too big for their veg box. so i moved them into the bigger box they are in now. i transplanted them into big fabric pots.. the soil i used for the transplant was a poor mix. it had compost, ewc and some amendments. no perlite or coco coir. this mix was too dense and as a result i beileve the roots were starved of oxygen. as the plants were droopy for more than a week after transplant. so i decided it was best for me to dig out the poor mix and replace it with a better mix. within a week they all perked back up and continued growing well. except for the white rhino. it was looking perfect before the transplant and now looks hideous.

it is still slowly growing however and has incredibly tight internodes and thick dense growth. looks like a heavy flowerer. im glad i took clones before it got sick!

  4. first pic is of my mother/ clone box. i have two seedlings in there. one og kush and a 707 headband. the 707 headband seed poped two plants from one seed. amazing. however the second plant from the one seed is a runt, but i will clone it to see if anyting comes of it. never know could be a better pheno when it matures. mabe not, il let yal know!

Things are booming in the flower box. temps got a bit high and i didnt notice as my thermometer mailfunctioned. i reset the thermometer since and stabilized temps to a good level so should perk back up soon. oh and im switching to 12/12 in 6 hours!!!
