Hermies

  1. i have a brick seed hermie and was wondering what can i do with it? can i use it to cook or concentrate?

  2. A hermie is just a plant that has been stressed enough, in some form or fashion, to make it produce seeds. Take the seeds out and you've got weed. Do what you want to with it as far as using it, but the seeds are duds. You can take and mash them between two fingers and they just collapse...so they're useless and it's a real crapper to have them show up in your crop! TWW

  3. There are grow journals from that one magic bag seed and the plant grew great. I don't think all hermies are duds. I base this knowledge off bullshit but I stand behind it :)

  4. tww hermie seeds are very viable. The good news is almost all ur plants will be female, the bad news is they can be prone to being hermie themselves. From what I have seen is like cancer, it takes a trigger to hermie the plants from a hermie seed though several growers have experienced a higher volume of herms leading them to conclude the genetic trigger is time not an event.

My pineapple chunk hermied and pollinated my berry bomb!. Will these seeds be good? I tore the pineapple chunk up as soon as I caught it, but I still see seeds forming in the Berry Bomb! Both plants came from feminized seeds. Thanks in advance.

  6. interesting, but what do you mean by time? trip out, I planted 14 Brick Seeds and 4 hermied and 2 were male. Out of the rest that survived my first grow attempt I have 4 females. They all experienced over crowding, under feeding, over feeding, light leaks, nute burn, super high temps, lack of lighting, training, trimmings, toppings, pests...and just...Murphy's Law altogether lol...and I even spot at least one single seed pod on two of the 4 plants I have lol

  7. thanks bro wish I seen ur post earlier I let my dog eat it he loved that shit, ripped it out to roots and ran to his bed lol hour later he he was in the kitchen begging for food haha he's hella old with arthritis I hope it made him feel better for a lil bit

  8. bsw, a lot of growers think at some point in time the seeds will all hermie again

  9. ohh OK I think if they are genetically prone to Hermie then they will under enough stress but I don't think they will just Hermie for nothing over time but I have nowhere near the experience of OG growers so I can't speak matter-of-factly but its just what I think

  10. That's not true.

OP if you have other females in your grow then I would pull the hermies and get rid of them carefully. They will pollinate your other plants and your will end up with with seeds in all of your bud. Not worth keeping them.
