Enough airflow?

  1. Hi all,

So I have recently purchased a long list of everything for my first stealth grow room, and will be assembling everything very soon. I have been reading all material related to DWC, and have decided to go this route. As this is my first real grow, I just want to verify a few things to make sure I am not missing anything!

This will be for a single plant only for now.
Grow Tent is 16"x16"x48" (approx 7.5sqft)
What I am mainly concerned with is having too much / not enough air flow.

I am doing my entire exhaust diy. It will be a 4 inch exhaust pipe with two 4" to 6" adapters and 2x 90cfm PC fans between them. That will be sealed and when done and then a carbon filter on the end with exhaust pushing out. Passive intake through the bottom side of the tent. The Tent will hold 4x 42w cfl (2 2700k and 2 6500k)

So 4" to 6" with a fan in it then back to 4" (almost exactly like any inline fan you can buy).
Each fan is rated for 90cfm with a decent amount of back pressure.

Does anyone see any problem with my setup? I know that with the carbon filter on the end it will half my cfm, but I still should have enough cfm and pressure to keep the smell under control and the plant happy!

  2. bump anyone?
