How many grams of oil will 1 ounce of good get me?

  1. Title. I'm going to be doing qwiso. I'll probably wash it 3 times.

  2. If its suuupa good weed you'll get 7g of oil or a bit more, I'd get about 6.3 from an oz of good weed or 2.8 from shitty weed. Isopropyl alcohol is pretty unhealthy though, I stopped using it.

  3. I thought iso was healthier than bho. Doesn't it completely evaporate out of the product? I only use 91%

  4. Jimmy carter would probably tell you to use everclear instead or something else that's food grade. You should google around before you commit to iso.

  5. Not enough to waste your bud trying. It takes 1 pound of premium grade-A bud to produce a few milliliters of oil, so better save up. LOL TWW

  6. yes it does. Isopropyl is used in separating many oils and making extracts by the food industry. If u drink beer ur hops flavors have been extracted by iso. Patience is key which a real stoner seldom has.

  7. What? Since when did people use boose to extract hops? It's boiled in the beer to extract

And I'd never use Iso, food grade only, if you can't make it you should be able to find it if you ask around

  8. do a quick search on iso and hops. Been used for decades. Not on the home brew level but by major beer makers.

  9. Safety
Isopropyl alcohol is incompatible with: "Heat, flame, strong oxidizers, acetaldehyde, acids, chlorine, ethylene oxide, hydrogen-palladium combination, hydrogen peroxide-sulfuric acid combination, potassium tert-butoxide, hypochlorous acid, isocyanates, nitroform, phosgene, aluminum, oleum and perchloric acid." [12]
When ingested, isopropyl alcohol can cause: "drowsiness, unconsciousness, and death. Gastrointestinal pain, cramps, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may also result. The single lethal dose for a human adult = about 250 mls (8 ounces)." [13]
Chronic exposure to isopropyl alcohol "may cause skin effects." It can also aggravate pre-existing conditions: "Persons with pre-existing skin disorders or impaired liver, kidney, or pulmonary function may be more susceptible to the effects of this agent." [14]
    How Produced
Isopropyl alcohol is a synthetic: "Prepared from propylene, which is obtained in the cracking of petroleum or by the reduction of acetone (Budavari, 1996)." Manufacturers and importers include Shell Chemicals, British Petroleum, and Mobil Oil. [15]
