Hey fellow tokers, do any of you believe in cannabis-induced psychosis? If so, what causes it?
Want to know for safety reasons.

  2. it doesn't exist...
what causes the myth to exist: reefer madness prohibitionist lies and propaganda.

  3. Actually there are studies that show it can cause mild psychosis and schizophrenia, but that's only in people that have smoked often since they were young, like earlier than 16. But anyway it's still very rare

  4. Actually there are more studies that said those reports about those studies were incorrect and misleading...

  5. I didn't know this, but that's good to hear!

  6. So it's safe if I smoke 1 gram every weekend?

    Cannabis induced psychosis is real.

At the same time, just about anything else that has a strong enough effect on you can induce the same. In the case of cannabis, you'd have to either smoke a loooooooooooot of weed over a long period of time, or be someone who's 99% fkd up already and just need a strong jolt to push you over a edge you were already heading for.

If you have a decent state of mind, fire away.

1 gram every weekend is perfectly fine. Tame for most diehards.

  8. My thought is that it probably doesn't help a person who already IS paranoid or prone to it w/e. Where's my proof? I'm paranoid as fuck and I smoke a lot of weed. BUT correlation does not equal causation.

  9. So here's the thing.. Do we see anywhere that somebody says "Cannabis induced psychosis exists?" can anyone say for certain? No, we cannot, because if we could, we would just say that but there have been ZERO conclusive studies to suggest it does.

They warp the way they say it to say "People with a family history of.." who will more than likely develop psychosis without the aid of Cannabis anyways.

But yeah, if they actually had conclusive studies, they would just outright say "It induces psychosis." but they cannot say that and any that have, have had their method of determining that found to be invalid and not of the world of science even remotely.

Also, you have to ask yourself "Is there an agenda behind people who would say something like this?" and if your answer is no, then ask yourself "Who would just go and conduct a study for the hell of it?" that doesn't happen, all studies have purpose behind them and need to be properly funded and get said funding from said purpose.

I burn that daily, and im a loony, when i sober up i realize that life is so damn dull, bein an utter nutjob has landed me some interesting scenrios into which i will avoid all details as my entire lifehas been tapped by an ancient alien secret society code-named obamacare that uses jade helm theories to conduct psychosis testing and the absense of cannabis

  12. One time I had a mental break down while smoking weed prior to the mayan calendar ending. I went into a psychosis and started hallucinating. Maybe my shit was laced. Changed my life forever as I was sent to the emergency room and ended up in the looney bin for a few days.

I think cannabis induced derealization is more common than psychosis

  14. i get that alot, not that bad you can still function very normal and it goes away in a couple of months, ive got it just now and im 5 weeks in, its really just being stoned for a month after smoking but its neutral stoned not good stoned

  15. i honestly like how derealization feels though, because when you can disconnect from all the stress in ur life for a brief period of time you can think about stuff more deeply.
