I fail to understand why Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery appears more concerned with our foolish federal law than he is with Arizona law. It is the job of the elected county attorney to enforce Arizona law. The people of Arizona have spoken. Medical marijuana is now the law despite the county attorney's misguided personal opinion about marijuana. Instead of worrying about peaceful people at a medical marijuana event, the county attorney should instead be focused on violent criminals.
