Drug test soon

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by METALFINGERS, Oct 30, 2015.

  1. So I was recently surprised with a decent job offer, I applied and was responded to almost immediately. My interview went great and I was hired, but at the end of the interview a drug screening was mentioned. I'm not sure when I'm going to have to take the test but I assume it's before i start training (which is on november 10th) The last time I smoked was on the 25th of this month, I just didn't expect a call center part time job providing no benefits to drug test me.

I've been smoking almost daily for a year now, I'm 5'4 and weigh 120. Is there any way I can even pass this test? Is it still worth giving it a shot or will failing the test prohibit me from future employment?

  2. I don't think you will pass. If you continue to smoke weed and fail drug tests, then yes, it will prohibit you from any future employment.

  3. What I meant by that was, if I fail a drug test, will having failed a drug test in the past prohibit me from future employment.

  4. No. That does not go on public record. You are safe there.

  5. With two weeks between the last time you smoked and and the test you could pass it. I would just exercise or anything that makes me sweat and drink a lot of water.

  6. I figure I'll at least give it a shot. Worst case scenario I simply fail the test and apply elsewhere. Thanks for the advice

As for your personal situation, you should go with substitution. Look at the last 10-20 pages of the thread I linked. Urinecredable's posts in particular. He mentions the use of a device called hewhizz for men or shewhizz for women. You have time to order it still I feel. If it's too expensive however, his posts also include purchasing about $10 worth of items from Wal-Mart that allows you to make an accurate temperature substitution vessel.

Best of luck, and remember to search next time.

Already searched, but thanks for the copy / paste response. Perhaps next time read my post thoroughly? Your response is contradictory. As for an update, passed without substitution. I've gotta say substitution really is an awful idea.

  9. Congratulations on your passing, I'm genuinely happy for you. I will say a few things however:
    1. It was not a copy and paste response. I took time to respond to you.
    2. What part was contradicting? Me sending you to another post, then still helping you? Me saying to look for Urinecredable's post, then still summarizing it for you?
    3. Substitution is not a bad idea. For some people, it's the best option, such as in the case of a random drug test. It can and has been done successfully on various occasions. Just because you don't want to do it or don't need to doesn't mean it's not a good idea. I suggested it for you however because it seemed like a really important test to pass, and no one can be 100% sure you'll pass naturally except you(by testing yourself). If done properly, substitution will work almost all of the time. Key word is properly.
    4. As for the searching, even if you failed in finding a drug test thread, one of the pinned threads is a drug test thread.
    5. Have a nice day, again, congratulations on passing. Good luck with your job.

  10. It was contradictory in the sense that you figured I hadn't searched for an answer. It also seems, though there are many similar thread, you forgot that the situation varies greatly from person to person, it's clear you didn't read my initial post having read your copy / paste standard response... I'd give the next post a thorough reading, even if that's not something you enjoy doing. :)
