Terri le Anxiety and shakin while high

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by catsgrassass, Oct 29, 2015.

  1. I'm not entirely sure if this is the appropriate place to put this but I'm desperate for answers. For the past 3 months or so I've become increasingly paranoid and anxious while high. I also get extremely shaky and twitchy, so much so I've had people ask if I was on hard drugs. At first I just thought maybe it was the circumstances (strain, location, people, comfort level) but even when I'm totally alone I feel freaked out and so paranoid I begin to have a panic attack. It got so bad the last time I smoked that I was totally convinced everyone was staring at me and my muscles were spazzing out so bad. I've smoked with different people in different places so and I'm concerned could this be a nerve problem / mental disorder? I can't find anything about it online.. help!

  2. Stop smoking it. Try again in a few months.

  3. Paranoia, anxiety, and panic attacks are not uncommon reactions to smoking pot for some people. Quit smoking and see whether your symptoms improve. Ask yourself if there is anything going on in your life (stress, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, etc.) that you're using pot to try and cope with. A person's state of mind and affect their reactions, and the pot could be exacerbating them. If so, try to seek counseling before trying to smoke again. Good luck.

  4. Sometimes I get like that, then i eat a chocolate bar, or a poptart, something with sugar and then i lose the shakes. Maybe someone could do a scientific experiment [IMG]

THC will send your mind OUT of your electro magentic field of your heart ... in this space there IS NO TIME
This is a dangerous and scary place to be ... although all your demons will be revealed to you here!!
You have a darkness my friend so i wold recommend talking to as many people as possible about that darkness ... you know what i mean!!

THC when it has nothing to do will make you crazy ... thats basically it's function ... you need HIGH CBD not high THC ... and besides you must make sure you smoke organic ... you're on the edge of a major snap if you keep on taking weed!! why would you get high if your body is telling you to stop?

CBD medicine might help you here and there is a tonne of other stuff you can do also ... from ormus and colloids to dream tea and kratom and mate!

Sugar helps give your body the basic crystalline energy that seems to balance the effects of THC since THC flooding your system can make you feel weak and can spark anxiety like feelings causing a cascade of anxious cycles to start. This is a panic attack with the thoughts reinforce the biology and things start to go wrong ...

Also i found that a fear of love can cause this ... it will powerfully unroot your heart and test it's pureness ... if you are afraid of love you need to remember when you are high that this feeling you are getting is love and you need to open up and relax to it ... otherwise THC will SHOW you directly WHO YOU ARE and will force you to confront those demons or fears that have always existed in you - your organs - and your DNA memory.

i'd recommend a twin flame meditation and a realization that all is love and start to live from the heart.

you're welcome to contact me on FB

  6. Op try a different strain if you can. ☺

  7. Try some pure Indica

  8. People weed is not the cure here. Other strains definitely not, pure cbd perhaps. Some people react bad to thc, its a medicine for sure but some people react bad to all medicines.

If he carries on smoking it will only compound and mental issues, he needs a clear head to deal with his demons.

CBT will help and cbd could help from a drug pov.

OP been through it all. High cbd helps a lot but if youre smoking bad ass thc rich weed then youre going to need a whole load of cbd counter that.

  9. Notice nobody asked how much you are smoking, so how much are you smoking? Are you smoking a bowl? Have you tried cutting back to a hit or two? I'm convinced this is a sign of smoking too much if it's THAT bad.

  10. No I am not smoking an entire bowl. Even when I take 1-2 small hits from a pipe I feel this way. This is what worries me.

  11. Alright. Well, if you're a complete newbie to it, that could be a lot of it as well. It took me probably 10 times to ignore the paranoia. You have to tell yourself why you're being paranoid and how irrational it is. As for the shaking, it could be on a similar level? Anxiety/paranoid thoughts getting out of control perhaps.

I think it could be the strain as well. I don't see how that can't be considered as an above poster said. I've had strains that made me feel completely calm and others that make me have racing thoughts.

  12. I'm not really a newbie, been smoking for a little over a year (except recently, i stopped after the last big panic attack.) and it's possible that it could be the strain, but I've never really bought from the same guy once. I've also never paid much attention to the strain.

  13. I've been down this road many times. It's all in your head. Literally. You're prone to panic attacks, as am I. Nothing is worse than having a panic attack while high. The irony of my disorder is that now I use marijuana to treat my panic and general anxiety issues, whereas when I was younger....it exacerbated them. Don't fight a marijuana high. It's not going to kill you or do any permanent damage, and if you let it do it's thing it'll be a great experience. If you are prone to panic attacks and try to fight the fact that you've just altered your mind with marijuana though, you'll have the worst panic attack ever. Period.

  14. Smoking marijuana for some people can result in increased heart rate, tension and arousal, anxiety, and depersonalization (thoughts or feelings that seem unreal or not belong to oneself) that can trigger a panic attack. It might be made worse if you also smoke cigarettes. Dose, state of mind, and other factors (medical/psychological) might also play a role in your reactions, therefore, it may be difficult to predict if the next time smoking marijuana will trigger an attack. Saying to yourself "it's all in your head" or "don't worry, it won't kill you" is probably does not prevent or stop a panic attack regardless of whether you smoke pot or not. If it were that easy, few people would have panic disorder.

Is your panic disorder under control when you're not high (I assume you have a history of panic attacks even when not smoking marijuana)? If you're only getting panic attacks while high, and not when you stop, then you may continue to get them if you persist in smoking. Keep in mind that if you are on medication for your panic disorder, marijuana might be interfering with your medication.

  15. The biggest feeling about weed that causes me to panic (occasionally) is the feeling that I am perma stoned. Even if not smoked for a week I can start thinking "am I ever not stoned, maybe Im dead". Thats a weird feeling thinking you are dead.
