Do you believe everything happens for a reason or...?

  1. Or everything just happens. Everything just flows and there is nothing we can do about it?

  2. Happens for a reason, on a big scale the world is fulfilling prophecies in the bible. Small scale yeah some stuff happens for a reason but theres a lot of things that we just do for the hell of it i think [IMG]

  3. Everything happens for a reason.. but not in a religious way, that is silly. We know that for every action, there is an equal and opposing reaction. So when something happens, there was an action that had to take place in order for it to happen. Even if you broke it down to the quantum level with it's unpredictability and there were an infinite factors (actions) that had to happen for an event to take place.. it is still an opposing reaction to all those actions.

Thing is though, it is also a flow that can be altered. It is just like flowing water.. you can divert it's path and as long as the new path you created offers less resistance than the old, you've altered the flow. That is the universe and life.. you go with the flow while altering the flow when you want/need to create a new flow to follow.

  4. Everything happens for a reason, this is the law of cause and effect. As events occur, the entropy of the universe increases and more events occur.

  5. On a large scale? Kinda. Not a spiritual or higher power type of way, but that the smaller scale effects of certain actions then in turn develop the large effects. Hence climate change. Some shit is just random chance.

  6. I feel like we give reason to events happening but things that happen to me opposed to me reading about someone else doing it I'd rather experience myself and learn from it
