Did you watch? What are your impressions?

The big one that stuck out this time is how much backlash against the moderators there was. About a dozen times a candidate or another criticized the questions that were asked as mudslinging, and the republican crowd agreed with them.

Everyone, as usual, kept repeating on what a teeeeny tiny government they want.......while running for the presidency of the United States of America.

Personally, I feel the Republicans have no one with a legitimate shot at Hilary. The best they can hope for is that Sanders overtakes her on the left, so that they can then unleash an anti-socialist storm the likes America hasn't seen since the 80's Communist scare and campaign on that. If Hilary wins the left, she wins the nation decisively imo.

  2. Best point was when the one moderator says Trump how will you cut taxes by 10 trillion dollars and not increase the debt. Trump keeps giving the same bullshit answer and then the moderator says no even conservative economic groups believe it will most definitely increase the debt. Then trumps only response is Larry Kudlow on CNBC likes it so it must be good. It boggles my mind how people could think Trump should be president. The guy is such a bullshitter. It's clear as day, yet people seem to not give a fuck.

  3. Also the second best moment was when Cruz was asked a question about raising the debt ceiling. He then goes on a long rant about how the moderators should focus on the substance of issues and the bias of the mainstream media for like a minute. The moderator says well I just asked you about the debt ceiling and you refused to answers the question. Cruz then tries to keep speaking and the moderator shuts him down like bitch if you wanted to answer you should have used the minute I gave you instead of going off on a tangent. I wasn't a fan of the mods most of the time but there were certain points where they were ruthless and didn't let the politicians spew empty rhetoric which I appreciated.

nice to see something besides cranky old white people that the (D)'s are putting out.

    but it's all nonsense anyway...

whoever raises the most money will win the D and R nomination..
    the debates are meaningless.

Clinton vs Bush will more than likely be the outcome.. Trump won't part with anymore cash once he falls in the polls, and Bernie will never come up with the $600+ million required to get the nomination.
and the others can't possibly raise the money that Bush will, once the candidates get whittled down a little more.

primary debates are like watching college basketball in the fist half.. the outcome is usually completely different in the end.

  5. The debate was boring, the candidates were exactly what you would expect, but hey, at least I didn't become enraged by looking Hillary's demon worshipping face.

  6. I'm not a Trump fan and I wouldn't vote for him but most of what a president does is negotiate and you must admit Trump knows how to come out on top in a negotiation. He is a bullshitter like you say but maybe those people do give a fuck, maybe they think his positives outweigh his extreme defects.

  7. no, i didn't watch it. why the hell would i watch a third republican debate? the first one is enough for even an ignoramus like me to learn they don't have any policies that already hasn't been tried and failed

  8. That is where you may be horribly wrong

  9. let's hope I am. for all of our sakes.

  10. glass half full kinda guy huh. I'll smoke to that.

  11. Hillary/Sanders 2016. See ya'll in 2020!

  12. I've said it from the start. Trump is not running, nor has ever been running, on policies or political know-how in general. He is running solely on machismo and billionaire alpha swagger, directed at making fun of Washington on national TV.

Trump's popularity is directly proportional to how much Americans hate what the government has become. Trump supporters aren't supporting him because they love him. They are supporting him because they hate the government and thus the politicians he is running against.

This is sad and most likely true.

The fact that Citizens United has not been overturned yet is mind boggling.

I hope Ben Carson gets the nomination just so that I can post the race card and call progressives who disagree with him racist for 4 years. It would also be a lot of fun to use the microaggression card and tell progs to check their privilege. Or until he gets pissed enough he stabs Putin in the belt buckle and World War 3 begins.

  14. Oh, wouldn't that be rich. "You don't like the Republican presidents conservative decisions? You racist bigoted prick!"

  15. The Republicans complaining about "gotcha" questions is ridiculous. They want some form of censorship on what can be asked.

The truth is that there are too many fucking people up on that stage. Get all the losers out (Jeb, Paul, Christie, Huckabee, Cruz) and open the stage for more discourse and more questions. You can't ask one person one question and then move on to a new topic with someone else. How is that pertinent?

Also, we have to acknowledge that these networks want a dog and pony show for ratings. Debates equal ad revenue, ad revenue equals strong corporate pockets. We, the American people, are ultimately being duped.

  16. as much as i can't stand the GOPers running..
that debate was horribly run, and was full of biased moderators... It was an absolute disgrace.
i wish the moderators in the D debates would ask the same sorts of questions..

like why hillary is so anti wall street, yet her top donors are all wall street and banks.. and how Sanders plans on paying for his social programs, and how will they get passed congress...
These questions need to be asked.

  17. Hillary has answered those questions already. Watched her do the moon walk, the cabbage patch, and the running man all around those questions.

Sanders is gonna tax the snot out of the top earners and has stated that in order to get things passed in congress the people, you and me, will have to mount a political revolution on our representatives in congress to effect change.

  18. So essentially he is reusing the Obama first term strategy. Hopefully he won't use the Obama second term strategy... royal decrees.

  19. The D debate featured a ton of attack questions. The first question of the night was launched at Hilary for switching her position based on political climate at the time.

Not defending Hilary, just saying I don't understand where the notion came from that the D debate was sunshine and kisses, while the Reps got put through the grinder somehow? The only difference was the firmness of the moderators, where Anderson Cooper and his team had a much stronger grip on running the debate than their Republican debate counterparts who found themselves beaten down by the candidates and thus, showing weakness, became open to even more critique and booing from the crowd.

  20. Lets tax the top earners 90%..
That may cover some "free" health care..
    now..

how about the free education, and everything else?

how will that get paid for along with the defense budget, foreign aid, and the rest of the bureaucracy?

has sanders put out any plan mentioning how much revenue his tax plan will generate, and how that money will pay for everything, while staying within some sort of budget?

Or is he just yelling and screaming about income inequality with no real answers on how to fix it?

can't compare the way the questions were asked in the 2 debates..

again i'm not a GOP guy.. will not vote for any of them. Just calling it the way i saw it.
