So I just bought this new bong, and I only really have ever smoked out of pipes. The one I purchased has a honeycomb perc in it, but no ice stopper. I was wondering, can I put the ice right on to the perc? Or is that not good to do?
You dont need ice, ice cools the smoke which condenses it, then once the smoke enters your lungs it expands due to your core body temperature. Often lead to coughing. If your bong is made out of quality boro then it should be fine, but if its cheaper soft glass then it could break it. I wouldn't risk it myself. Besides ice on a honeycomb might reduce the airflow even more. You can still try it though.

Any time I've ever used ice in my bong I only use one cube. I hate when I see people loading it up all the way to the mouthpiece -___- Its really not necessary though
I suppose you can but I agree with the other posters here, it's not needed. You'll probably enjoy it more without ice.
