  1. a lot has been on my mind about mental illnesses. why do people believe they can send someone away and "fix" them in 2 months? psychos are regular people who are just smarter.. what do you think let me know.

  3. I think it's a phase you're going through and you'll grow out of it, tbqh.

  4. Psychos are people who don't feel empathy and enjoy hurting other living beings without remorse. If that's your definition of "regular but smarter people", I pity you.

  5. smarter people are more prone to mental illness, especially depression. That's different than what you said.

As the above user said, a psychopath is someone who doesn't have empathy. They act only out of self interest and cannot feel love or compassion.

Mental illness can also be defined as the inability to think rationally (or in otherwords, you consistently engage in self destructive or random behavior that doesn't make logical sense - like shooting up a school because you hate your aunt)

  6. This isn't exactly correct.. psychopaths can empathize, that is where their charm comes from. It is like a switch that can be turned on and off whereas with "normal" people, it is usually always on. Nor do they always act out of self interest.. because if they are not feeling emotions, they're not going to feel enough to act in self interest. If anything, regular people act out of self interest more while psychopaths act out of urges and instinct more. The idea the all psychopaths are bad and only want to hurt people is a very outdated mindset.. and in reality, a psychopath and sociopath are virtually the same, just that one is more their nature (psychopath) and the other their nurture (sociopath).. so if you think all psychopaths are evil, then so are sociopaths.. and that would mean about 1/3 of the people you meet on a day to day basis are evil.

  8. There're a lot of different types of phsychos probably. Some are evil and dangerous, and some are cool and fun to hang out with. Like all people, just different.

In my more stoned states, I tend to see people as frequencies.

If someone is the same frequency as you, you guys will gel and generally get along. If not , then not.

Some people have frequencies way off from what we consider "normal". I sort of "understand" why someone would commit murder, rape, torture, or anything else horrific. Those people are on a completely different frequency than those we consider normal. As such, they are not held by the same mental values or constraints. They don't see any of those acts as horrific because the victim is irrelevant. Therefore it is easy to proceed with execution.

I think this is important to truly digest and internalize for times when you are dealing with truly crazy people. If you understand that they are playing by a different playbook, or have completely thrown the playbook out of the window, then you can understand and be prepared for whatever they do next.

Yeah, one of my good friends who I've known since I was 17 and used to jam with is a legal Psychopath who also has a form of psychosis, who thinks he is a type of demon or fallen angel.... No, I'm not making this up... He's been institutionalized a bit which he admitted himself after seeing visions of murdering his family.

He says the heavy use of psychedelics brought all of it clear to him... He's on heavy meds, so he keeps cool for the most part, but he inside doesn't really care about anyone, which he seems to admit more openly when he's drunk. Also very open about being a legal Psychopath and about him being a spiritual satanist...

I've had many talks with him and always knew but never really truly i guess understand.... Until I decided to do a large amount of unmentionable around him... Let's just say since he can't murder anyone, he enjoys fucking with people if they are on a certain some unmentionables... I happen to be his open victim that night and it was by far the most horrifying night of my existence... He claims he destroyed a piece of my "humanity" as he did with his brother and one of our good friends, whom never really recovered and went crazy... (miss that little fucker)

It was my fault any who, since I always told myself and him I'd never do that certain unmentionable around him.... Lol I could write so much more about what I saw and felt... That's for another time I suppose. Took me a good while to recover from that experience...

We're still cool since I've known him for so long. But, I just feel like I saw him for who he truly is and hasn't really been the same....

  13. why does he have to "blow" something up?? Smh.

Btw it is it's not its bruh

  14. Then what is a schizo to a psycho?

  15. lol - in the USA there's nothing but psychos, so help me God

I never said they're evil, mind you. They can act empathy but it's nowhere near the same as having actual empathy. Every sociopath I've met has been self-centered, exploitative and remorseless.

  17. I don't know.. when you say that they enjoy hurting other living beings without remorse, that sounds pretty evil. It is a moot point though because that too isn't exactly true either.. that is just the mindset you've been indoctrinated with by mainstream media and entertainment. Also, the majority of sociopaths don't even know that they are sociopaths.. so they're not going to be able to willfully act like they can empathize. It is an on/off switch similar to how schizophrenia operates.. and there are countless factors that come into play with flipping the switch. Almost every time I see someone who thinks incorrectly about sociopaths.. it is because the ones they met fucked over their lil fragile emotions.. causing them to stereotype the rest. Like I said, going about your day to day activities.. about 1 in every 3 to 4 people you meet are a sociopath or psychopath, and most don't know it yet are able to keep the negativity locked up.

Lack of empathy and remorse means that a person is more likely to not give a damn about what others feel. The part about enjoying it was a generalization, I admit, but that slope is a slippery one.

But how about ditching the arrogance? No, people who disagree with you haven't been brainwashed or indoctrinated by mainstream media or had their "fragile lil emotions hurt" by every sociopath.

  19. It isn't about not agreeing.. it is about your generalization, that you admitted to, that shows that your knowledge on sociopaths comes from TV and movies.. or from the few experiences where a sociopath hurt your feelings, making the experience stand out and cause you to generalize and stereotype.

Also, if you're curious.. there is a fallacy specifically named for your thought process, the slippery slope fallacy.
