Hello I use hempy's and my city water is shit lol, I have been going to the store and getting ro water and it sucks messing with it so I have been researching RO systems I am looking @ an APEC - 6 Stage Home Reverse Osmosis Alkaline pH+ Water Filter System - 75 GPD
what I am concerned of is the particular unit's 6th Stage--Calcite Acidic Water Neutralizer 10" - adds calcium carbonate to increase water alkalinity. will I have to adjust my ph if this stage is added anyone with actual experience with RO water please help

  2. Making ro'ed water alkaline is for drinking purposes, most ro systems allow u to remove those filters. For nutrients sake, you should be looking for pH7 water w lowest ec possible. cheers.

  3. I ordered RO buddy from Amazon for less than $75. 50 Gpd and within 5 minutes of opening it you'll be making a gallon about every 30 minutes. Filters are good for 1500 gal. I'm going from 275ppm tap to less than 10ppm. pH is way easier to adjust because there's far fewer ions to buffer your acid or base.
