Barack Obama Is A Good President

  1. I'd be happy to see that, and I would gladly give him credit for that. That's a huge step in the right direction, but will never happen.

Life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for thr Silk Road founder, think Barry Obama takes the "war" on drugs as serious as reegan.

  3. The government doesn't like competition.

  4. Indeed, they hate it. Its why if you rob a post office in the UK you get 10 years, a bank 5. Nobody steals from the establishment.

We had that already, it is called The Freedom of Information Act, aka we will tell you when we feel like you should know and only after you ask. I am not really sure what you all mean by transparency in government. Do you want to know what is in the bills before they pass? Or what does that really mean? Obviously the government cannot tell you every single thing it is doing because that would only hurt in areas in national security. And Snowden was not that big of a shock, you had people like me telling you all that they were questioning university professors and others with mere links through travel and phone calls to middle eastern countries.

There were also rumors I heard for years before the leak came out from Snowden about the federal government having a system that stores data and picks up on keywords, and to not to say anything on the phone or in texts because it could easily be noticed. So there were rumors long before that, we just chose not to listen, or think it possible. I think it is pretty fucked up to use it in order to harass citizens and the major corporations the federal government strong-armed into giving up server access, it really just pisses them off and makes people not want to work for the federal government.

  6. Another token accomplishment :p

  7. I doubt the people that are locked up on bullshit possession charges see it that way.

  8. ^I'm not saying it's not important...just that In the scheme of things, for a President, it's a very small accomplishment.

And by token, I mean 'done for the sake of appearances'

With how big of a disappointment he's been, he had to do a few things to save face.

  9. They should never have gone to prison anyways, and the only reason he's doing it is because they're to overfilled now.

Really prison changes people, makes them more prone to violence. More prone to commit crimes because the felonies don't just go away. Its a big reason we've got problems in this country.

  10. I remember all the liberals and democrats up in arms about George W. and the patriot act, and when they claimed he lied when he prepared to ask congress for permission to invade Iraq. Now, under Obama, we have broad NSA intelligence gathering operations on US citizens out in the open, harsh retalliation against whistle blowers, bills being passed in congress without congressmen being able to read them before they vote on them, not even going to congress for permission to declare war on on countries *cough* Libya *cough*, retaliation against whistle blowers and the funding of terrorist orginizations - that sometimes we claim to be fighting - is laughably in your face... especially after we see russia enter the picture and scare the crap out of these so called terrorists.
I'm not saying Bush was any better, but with what we know now it has become even harder to justify what is going on... Oh, I can't wait to see how great our next president is.
And all you people who think Obama is such a great speaker need to learn the difference between a good speaker and some dude reading words off a teleprompter. I will admit though, he is really good at reading words off a telepropter.

  11. You just wait til Bernie gets in there! You'll see! Democracy works and socialism is the future! You'll be eating your harsh words!

Ok, I can't go any further. My fingertips are getting stained brown just writing that.

  12. LOL what a horrible presidential candidate that will be forgotten in no time.

It's so hysterical that people will so heavily shit on all the other career politicians yet so happily suck this guy's dick like he was supposed to be the next messiah. His hypocrisy is as flamingly rich as all the other others'. But his supporters will never, ever admit his short comings. They will fight tooth and nail to lift him high like a god. It is the true definition of a religious cult. It's disgusting, and his supporters should be ashamed at the blinders they wear.

Send your kids to his school. Please. It'll teach them "freedom" they said. The free market will magically fix of all the world's problems they said.

I feel like there's plenty of non violent offenders to replace them, since there are no avenues preventing new non-violent offenders from filling America's prisons, and an outright dismissal from the white house every time it was brought to their attention.

  14. His supporters aren't the one fucking the country up, Obama's are.

Yeah what a horrible candidate...RP wanted to bring our troops home/end the wars, give peace a chance, give tax relief to everyone, stop shredding our rights....what a RETARD with a bunch of blind people following him :p

Ron Paul is a lot smarter than you'll ever be - graduated from Duke Medical school & was a practicing physician for years before entering politics. Something a dumb person isn't capable of.

  15. Nobody said he was perfect and flawless.

  16. Well, most of those non-violent offenders are likely doing something to harm another person, like petty theft...or many other crimes...maybe if we had more responsible parenting things would start to swing back the other way...or parenting at all.

  17. I could totally see how being a fiscally conservative capitalist and socially liberal could turn a lot of people off. In the eyes of most people those ideas don't mix - especially if you're an indoctrinated political party member.

Overall though RP had the best policies out of any candidate in 2012. Also wanted to get rid of the drug war, something I forgot to mention earlier.

He was definitely a politician ahead of his time. One day people will realize RP's ideas were superior but he got beat by the machine & big money.

There are no avenues preventing the same nonviolent mj offenders that Obama got the ball rolling on releasing, as you put it. I shoulda been more clear on what I meant there.

There has been no initiative to decriminalize said nonviolent drug offenses on a federal level, and Obama has supported quite the opposite of the most beneficial and common sense approach, like in that video, and any other time he's been prompted.

  20. LOL what a fantastic response. I love it! So predictable. It's like you're a robot, or a program written for social media right out of the Ron Paul 2012 campaign.

No doubt I agree with his anti-war stance. Not many do. You are not special for that. But I also disagree many other things. Hence the philosophy that I hate the RP dick suckers that just praise him like Jesus. Just like you hate the unquestioning Obama dick suckers.

A RP cultist cannot admit he has any political imperfections. To me it seems like you are proof of that. :p

On a side note, you make a lot of assumptions about my education and degrees. That shows some inherent insecurity on your part.

Nobody gives a shit if a career politician has an MD. It's sad that you do.
