I was amazed at the possibility of this! What do u guys think? Hopefully radio telescopes find something. http://www.sciencealert.com/scientists-can-t-explain-the-bizarre-mass-of-objects-orbiting-a-distant-star
Nothing is impossible, this is very interesting. Thanks for sharing! I'll likely post back once I put some time and research into this and form an opinion. But this is groundbreaking info! I hope SETI focuses some time into this. It has to be the most solid lead they have ever gotten period, like what could be causing this? We are not alone!?!?
For starters governments have been in contact with extraterrestrials for more years than you can count. The general public just don't know this that's all.
They don't want to because they're the fuckers that cloned us. We're too fucking stupid, we're just the ant on the sidewalk.
Thats true, i probably shouldn't have said definitive proof, and yes, it very well could be a large cloud of dust or something from a collision upon further reading. Still interesting nonetheless
The mass of this 'space debris' would have to have a mass about 20 times the size of Jupiter to cause the percentage of dimming going on. Not saying that it is indeed another life form...just that whatever it is is freaking huge. Who knows what kinds of things are out there, especially when you start getting into dark matter. A good article on the subject - Did Astronomers Find Evidence of an Alien Civilization? (Probably Not. But Still Cool.)
I checked up on this and the distant star. Seti and such have found no evidence of intelligent life and presume its a large field of comets or asteroids not seen orbiting before
