How Can I Clean My Grinder?

    I've had this grinder for a while and I want to clean it, how should I do this and what should I use? Can I use just soap and water, or will it rust? Any help is appreciated.     I would use a toothbrush. Haha like my last 3 post have been about using a toothbrush, thats new. Brish all the screens an even where u grind it at, but when ur brushing it do it over the keif storage compartment so u get all the keif thats been stuck on the grinder.

    I just used a toothbrush and it looks and works good as new, thanks man. I was mainly asking if it would rust or anything from water, but its fine.

    tooth brush sounds pretty good.

    Noooooo! Take each piece and put it in a baggie with some ISO. Shake it up then dump the liquid into a plate. Then you can just rinse off the pieces.

    Let the liquid on the plate evaporate and you've got yourself some nice hash.

    I use a guitar pick and a toothbrush. The pick to scrape as much as I can, and the toothbrush to get in the nooks and crannies. Collect up your kief, then wash the grinder pieces in iso or everclear. I have a quart mason jar of iso that I use for cleaning my grinders and dab rigs. I pour some into a baggie with the piece that needs cleaned, shake it like hell for a bit, then rinse the piece with water. I never let soap touch any of my smoking gear. After you're done cleaning, pour the used iso through a coffee filter back into the storage jar. When the liquid in the jar gets the color green/gold that pleases you, pour it into a glass flat bottomed dish and let it evap. Then scrape up your iso hash and enjoy!

    I have a diamond grinder with the keif trap in bottom, I usually put the empty grinder in the freezer for ten minutes then get all the keif out. When thats done I'll take a paperclip or something and scrape off any resin still stuck in the grinder while its still cold. Quick way to clean when it starts to get gummed up but won't get it completely spotless.
