Open your heart chakra to become more intelligent

  1. When i am on Cannabis + listen to the right music i am able to think further. I just focus a little on the heart area.
Have solved several problems that helped me making money.

  2. I opened mine but it hurt.
Can I have some of your money?
It'd be from the heart right?

  3. How about you open a book instead.

  4. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS

when you open your mind, your third eye, or third asshole you'll find the same bullshit tht has been there all along

learn something new instead. I'd recommend psychology, tht'll enlighten you more about humanity than any amount of meditation or drugs

Hey now, meditation is good but I agree that it doesn't lead to more knowledge. This has been my main criticism with people who are oh so spiritual and that free love hippie bullshit. I'm not a believer in chakras and all of that new age bullshit.

Edit: Also, I'm not a believer in drugs as a tool for "spiritual growth." I hate that shit. Like spiritual people start saying all this crazy shit equivalent to the very same religious people they always criticize. Instead of Jesus and prayer, it's meditation, crystals and more bullshit.

  6. im sure meditation clears your mind and helps you to a healthier mental state. but the idea tht it makes you see things different from all the "unenlightened" sounds like bs to me

  7. It does in fact help change your perspective on things, but that doesn't make you more intelligence.

  8. Meditation is a catalyst to help you learn better when you are not meditating. End of story

But it can lead to becoming more intelligent.

Reading a book and memorizing information isn't intelligence.

And sorry OP I appreciate the sentiment but your original post sounded dumb as hell
"I just smoke some weed and focus on my heart, man"

    Blessings,

One experience I've had with meditation is that it helps me touch in with the moment and be more aware of the things within and around me. The more aware we are, the more likely we'll be able to retain information. In addition, it also invites deeper insights into the nature of the world and mind.

I would argue these two things at the very least increase the likelihood of improving our intelligence as well as gaining more knowledge from the world around us. We can read thousands of books on a subject and if we haven't the capacity to retain the information and apply it, we might as well not have bothered reading in the first place.

There is of course a lot more evidence supporting the fact that meditation does improves our intelligence, both mentally and emotionally, but for the sake of this thread I thought some personal experience would be sufficient in supporting the claim.

As for Fredrik's initial post, I hear you. While your experience fits in with what many others have experienced, the truth is, you could meditate on anything and reach that point of clarity where great insights and solutions to problems arise. The key is to still the mind so that we can focus our attention without all the distractions and other fluctuations.

  15. The third eye chakra can lead to greater memory and cognitive function among other things.

  16. Yall can naysay all ye want. We're just consciousness anyway, us 'new age' folks are seeing the depths of it. Logic does not apply in the realm of meditation, it's more an intuitive feeling, thereby communicating with you.
