im thinking I have thripes and the white spots are predatory males? What's my best course of action from here? I already put about an inch of sand on the top of all my medium in all my pots.
yea those are definitely thrips. the white spots aren't males they are juvenile instars. also the black spots are thrip shit. spray with spinosad on the leaves till runoff and soil drench the top two inches or so with the same solution. buy some cucumeris mites for future control. I am battling thrips and the spinosad is whats knocking them out.
