Pulled over

  1. Well just to make this short.. Just copped a eighth for me & my boy, decided we would go to the pier to light up for the view & all that. Well on the way there passed an undercover he threw the lights on us & quick enough we're being pulled out the car, detained all that good stuff. HA. Asked why we were pulled he claimed that the reason was because no "tag light" (fucking dumb excuse) well they start searching the car with there dumb ass mutt climbing all over the seats he doesn't alert so we're in the clear as my friend had the blunt on him that was already rolled which they found. He's good to go as he's underage so his parents come & pick him up. Meanwhile with me I'm getting all the lectures blah blah they impound the car cause there was a problem with the registration or someshit (dealerships fault) because I had recently just traded my old car in for this one, but I'm free to go since they had nothing on me, they we're talking about corruption of minor but I was honest with them the whole time so I figured they took it into consideration to let me be. Meanwhile the rest of the weed & the other blunt is in the glovebox which they failed to look in 😂 searched everywhere else but there & nor did they're dumb dog alert to it. Close call but I'm really heated right now didn't get to toke at all today & just when the time had come my bad luck strikes... But uhh hope y'all enjoyed the read. if anyone could help me out regarding wether or not when I get it out the impound will it still be in there or you think the pigs will do a double check through the car? But yeah.. Thanks for reading & oh yeah one more thing.
    FUCK THE POLICE 🐽👮

  3. poor vehicle maintenance leads to MANY pretext stops...and yes, a burned out light bulb is poor vehicle maintenance. Even worse is that it appears THIS vehicle was going to a spot known to law enforcement as being a location where potentially illegal activity occurs. Those two things are a good start towards probable cause for a search (there are other elements that come into play)...

The registration issue is something that doesn't make sense though...while it is certainly true that most people have a dealership do the title paperwork at the Clerk's office, they also usually have a temporary tag with a known expiration date. If that date is coming up and you don't have new tags, it isn't like you didn't know there was a hang-up somewhere.

As to whether the car is inventoried depends on the lot...sometimes the police will do a detailed inventory but other times there is the 'unofficial' inventory that is performed by yard staff...after all, who is going to complain about missing drugs? I had a client whose car we made arrangements to pick up prior to auction and it was clear that someone had gone through the passenger compartment but the trunk did not look like it had been touched by anyone. Offense reports made no reference to a search of the trunk having been performed. Not sure if it was a lack of PC or whether they were too stupid to figure out how to open it (that particular model did not have a key slot for the trunk nor is there a remote release in the passenger compartment).

  4. Where I live, it's illegal for the police to pull you if they are in an unmarked car. I hope some fake cops didn't steal your car...

  5. Nah mate everything is smooth now. Just stole my green though, pretty mad about that situation still ha.

  6. I swear whenever a cop pulls over and asks to search your car...thats fucking illegal unless they have probable cause...like if they smell the grass man. Cop these days they are such dicks.

  7. It is not at all illegal for them to ASK to search. You don't have to consent to a search just because they ask. If someone in the USA is going to be stupid enough to waive their 4th Amendment right then they deserve whatever consequence follows...

Google "Terry search". They have tons of shit in their arsenal to fuck you whenever they want.

  9. Not all of which, in a routine traffic stop, will survive a Motion to Suppress. Terry is not the be-all, end-all that some LEO's believe it is with respect to trampling Constitutional protections. It might surprise you JUST how many cannot articulate the factors necessary to legitimize a search pursuant to Terry[/] and its progeny.

  10. This is highly disturbing. Is this the America that we dream about? Hell no. It's a fucking police state. Fucking rediculous bullshit for a joint.....dogs searching......for a fuckin joint. If I was police chief, and one of my officers made a report about how they had dogs sniffing a vehicle for a joint, I would expose the officers as "corrupt" on the 6 o clock news and then fire them.

  11. Kind of doubt a drug dog didn't find your stash in the glove box of all places. It just doesn't add up.
