  1. Idk wat to buy or wat its caled for my home sound system its a unit that i conect speakers to meaning the amp is in the base unit and the sub is the same but the system is only 300watts total. Its loud but i want to b able to have more loud bass i find it relaxing the only option is to get a louder sub woofer but it has to b able to conect without rca or anything. So im guessing it would also plug into the wall outlet. any advice?

  2. Go to Audio Asylum and sign up. ask your question there

But, the only way a speaker- sub or otherwise- is going to make sound is when it is connected to the source

How does your current subwoofer connect? Why is it that the replacement cannot be connected via cable? Is this because the current setup uses a wireless sub, because you don't have a second sub out option, or because of the desired location?

If you only have one sub out jack then you can buy a splitter to connect a second subwoofer.

If your current setup uses a wireless subwoofer then you can just purchase a better wireless sub to replace it, or possibly use both.

If the location you would like to place the subwoofer prevents you from being able to run cables then you can buy an adapter that will allow you to connect a wireless subwoofer to the standard sub out on your receiver or home theater device.
Those can be found here http://www.sunfire.com/sub_wireless_kit.asp or http://velodyne.com/product-accessories/wiconnect-... and probably a few other places.

  4. My setup is conected the sub by speaker wire to the radio base unit, it sux tho...no power cord on the sub and the loudnes comes from built in amp in the base unit like im saying its not conected with rca or anything so how can i get a sub that will take amplified input and also increases it and i want big like 12". price maters btw. i think right now its a 8" with the 6 speaker total at total 300 watts.
