Looks like a bit of nute burn, which isnt totally uncommon with either of the fox farms soils for young plants. They are a bit small for two and three weeks which makes me wonder if maybe there isnt a bit of over watering.

Personally, I wouldnt over react. Just watch the new growth and water when the container gets dry.

From my experience t5ho lamps do best when they are about 8" or so from the plants if you can keep temps in check. At 12" or higher they do not do well at all for me personally.

As far as nutrients, I really dont think they need to be fed. Fox farms ocean forest or happy frog will both feed for about three to four weeks of vigorous growth. Normally I do not need to feed until early flower after being in the final pot for two weeks. I find that usually the nutrients in the soil will last smaller plants more than long enough until they get transplanted to larger pots.
At the the same time 1ml per gallon of gh nutes is such a low ppm that it isnt likely to fry anything either.

  7. Ok perfect yeah Last night I had my light at 6" still a little hot raised it a couple more inches to get that right and yeah the big one was over watered last week in the one gal. Pot but I took it out and replaced with dry soil and let that dry completely out till yesterday and restarted my water cycle because I was worried for mold and stuff new growth this morning seems good leafs are not dry and no more spots maybe just heat burn and no water?

  8. Yea, could have been a slight bit of shock as well. Im not sure how it went for you but I know you didn't have anything near a full root ball when you replaced the soil, so it could have stressed things a little.

  9. Yeah that's what I'm thinking is I shocked it a little taking it out of all the wet soil to dry it out a bit ill keep everyone posted in the next week or so and this is just bag seed to practice I just got my hands on some feminized northern lights so hopefully things work out well before starting those

Update they seem to be turning around new growth looks good I have to raise my light to much heat is what it was and maybe nute burn from leaf touching soil so now 12" away a lot better and temps are controlled I appreciate your help and the age on the bigger olant I'm on my third weeks of weds will be 21 days now I did the math because it was started when I moved into the new house so 3 weeks weds. Is that a good size for 3 weeks
