I'm trying to make some dank ass eatables I'm sorry but my tolerance is high, but on that note I don't make or eat eatables that much. So I'm no expert in this field. But I can tell you one thing I want them as potent as possible!

First I have 2 mediums to choose from bud wise, one is dabs and the other is dry herb.

I'm looking for at least 20 servings
I have either A) 10gs of bud or 2gs of dabs.

Or B) 5gs of bud and 1gs of wax.

Please let me know he which one would be better ?

The dabs and bud are both the same strains! Both are very potent!

The main question I'm asking is which one of these options would make the 20 most potent servings, also I have not decided what kind of food I will be making if you have any suggestions on which type of eatables are most potent to cook with let me know!

Now here's another interesting question/experiment I want to bring to your attention, instead of using bud to make the eatables could I turn the bud into ROSIN? I would use the rosin and the rosin chips, to add to the mix! I'm really trying to go into deep space with this! So I'm thinking rosin, bud, chips and wax! If that's possible!

  2. Mate if your tolerance is high use everything you mentioned! One thing I've read about cooking with wax or dabs- if you find it hard to get the concentrate to mix with your oil make a tincture with EC and then cook off the alcohol from your oil. Should mix right in. I believe concentrates need to be decarbed to become active in edibles, too (can't tell you time or temp). I find if I get a good high from edibles (I like them potent, too) I don't get high from smoking for about a week. Have fun and please keep us posted on what you do and the results.

  3. thanks for the feedback im just looking to satisfy myself and others! Which one would you think would be a better option? 10gs of bud or 5gs and a g of wax?

I'd go with the bud and wax and put the oil into one recipe. Don't make something too big so you don't have to eat four brownies or whatnot. Please give us a report when you're finished. Have fun!

  5. How many servings should I make And what would be the most quickest and effective food to mix the bud in? I'm going to use coconut oil, should I mix the oil with bud and wax or should I do it separately?

I'm sorry, but I don't know how much a gram of wax, well, I don't know how many edible doses from wax. Be sure you decarb your wax and buds. I don't know how to decarb wax, maybe the section with concentrate info will tell you how to decarb. Now does the wax melt into a liquid when heated? If not you may need to do a solvent transfer. I've never done it- I understand you dissolve the wax in Everclear and then mix the everclear laced wax into your oil then cook until the alcohol evaporates. I would try to make the smallest amount of oil I could- 1/4-1/2 cup. This amount will make a small tray of brownies. You can find any recipe you want, but for maximum potency try to use all the oil in one recipe that won't make too big of a batch. Wish I knew more. Good luck.

  7. Just made BHO edibles on Thursday... My recipe: mix heated decarbed oil into butter over low heat. If you melt it into the butter and stir it like honey (use a lighter) it works well. Use the butter after it solidifies in any recipe calling for butter. I'd say if you have a high tolerance use .1 gram of oil so 2 grams for 20. They will know you out haha

  8. thanks for the reply! When you said use .1g of oil, did you mean for each serving and 2gs of wax for 20 servings?

  9. My understanding is that when it comes to BHO, 0.1 = 100mg of THC. 100mg is a big dose for really anyone and most recipes assume 30-60 mg per edible as a "dose" [cookie or whatever]. What I meant to say was that if you had a high tolerance, assume 100mg per "dose" and use 2 grams of oil for 20 "doses" [Because .1x10=1; so 1 gram makes 10 100mg "doses"; Double that and you'd have your titration for 20 100mg edibles]

    Hopes that makes better sense!

  10. Just correcting something that really annoys me. Dab is a verb. The state of cannabis that you are talking about is called wax, oil, concentrate... etc. Saying "2 grams of dabs" isn't a correct statement.

  11. Cool

  12. That is very off on the .1 equals 100mg of thc. That would mean the oil is 100% thc. It is probably closer to about 60-70mg of thc per .1
