Having seizures after I take a big hit

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Easylivinggoodgrowing, Oct 7, 2015.

  1. So, I've been smoking for about 7-8 years. I've always been fine, I love weed and don't really see myself ever quiting. Until recently however, whenever I take a really big hit from my gravity bong I start having a seizure, the first few times it was only for about 15 seconds and i was still standing, but the last two times I've completely fallen to the floor shaking and I accidentally bit my tongue. Can anyone tell me what's going on? My friend that I get my weed from orders it from Colorado.

  2. Is everything OK with other people who smoke with you?

  3. Stop smoking and ask a doctor because that sounds terrible. I've never heard of anyone having a seizure from weed

  4. Yes everyone else is okay it's just happening to me.

  5. See a Doctor asap, seizures are nothing to mess around with

  6. I had a mate do that a few times after seriously heavy sesh's, he went to the doctors after we dragged him there but they couldn't anything wrong. Keep on them until they find something!

  7. Watching you do that would freak me out

  8. it freaks me out too

  9. I've never heard of this either. I would not take in any more cannabis until you get checked out with the doc to see what is going on with your body. The only thing I can think of is the cannabis you are smoking was doused with some sort of pesticide that is triggering seizures. I have smoked and been around cannabis for a long long time and this is the first time I've ever heard of cannabis triggering seizures.

  10. I've had similar experiences. It turns out I'm hypoglycemic, constant low blood sugar. Most people's blood sugar averages 120, mine averages 70. A combination of getting light headed when standing up after a smoke session and a chronic low blood sugar would trigger a seizure. They only last a minute or two, but when you come around it's a terrifying experience. You have no idea where you are or what's going on. My doctor told me to eat 6 meals a day to help regulate my blood sugar. I've also had them completely unrelated to smoking, but now I only have one or two seizures a year. Not too bad.
