The trailer I saw looked like a straight rip of the FC4 map. I think they might be fucking up with this one and the last installment wasn't necessarily "spectacular" either.
Far cry 3 felt massive. Far cry 4 did not have that same feeling and overall, felt very recycled. The characters were polarizing at times and i find this is what 3 lacked the most. To be honest, i am not even excited to go craft my own weapon.. I am excited to just go and eat some plants n mushrooms n shit and see if i can fight some giant black thing again. That was fuckin awesome. <---- That is what made far cry 3.4 really great.. This game is clearly going to be lacking that and i think this is a massive oversight on the devs part.. FC 3 and 4 had shaky combat systems.. At no point was i compelled to go and play online, simply because other games do the online portion better. When you introduce a game with mammoths, like Skyrim, but then also give it an online feature, you can't provide quality when you do that. Skyrim could not provide online quality/single player quality, they chose to make a decision and clearly it was the right one. So if these guys actually focus on the story and the cool shit that made far cry great in the first place, i will check it out, but if these guys think they rode the far cry franchise to success based on "Being a hunter" and "Game play that makes you feel like a hunter.." i am sorry that is so inaccurate its kind of stupid. If you think i don't wanna be high as fuck running around with flashing red shit gunning bitches down with the AK, that i'd rather be hiding in the bushes like a hunter, give me a break homie. I think these folks be fuckin up.
Dude it's so great cause I just saw a movie that took place way back in those days and thought of how cool it'd be to play a game that was like this. I hope it's has a really really unique and ever expanding crafting systems and a more on survival tone than the other ones
I can't do sharks or water in video games. At the beginning of Far Cry 3 when you are running over a bridge and you fall into water, I shut that shit off. Never played it since.
