Making cannabutter soon

  1. Any tips would be appreciated, I read Hashmoufs guide and will be using it! Also will be using some big wreck buds sadly I can't use trimmings/: should I grind the buds before mixing with butter in the pan or how would that go?

    I haven't looked at that guide in a long time. Yes, grind your buds, then decarb- I like 240F for 40 minutes for decarb. Then cook with butter- I like six hours, strain, use the butter for your recipe.
    I don't cook with water mixed into the cannabis-butter mixture so I do a seven day water cure on the herb I'm using, IMHO makes the taste much milder. After the water cure, I dry the buds, then grind for decarbing. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. I'm cooking myself later this month.
